As Steel said the only thing that would work is if the day before the major every single team says they will boycott it unless IBP is unbanned. That or a very powerful players union is the only real option.

Man, I feel so bad for these guys. They put their hearts into this game and were good enough to play professionally and lost everything because of a bad decision. If I were punished to the full extent for all of my bad decisions I don't even know where I'd be. These guys deserve official forgiveness from Valve and the ability to play again.

Godlike Pikachu no they didn't, there was no rules or ultimatums made by valve until this happened. Then they said if u throw lifetime ban. It was to make example of them to stop this. They knew others had done it an not been caught, they thought they may get months not a lifetime.

Dazed's face says it all. I honestly don't even care that they threw, they showed that they deserve the redemption, they suffered enough and understood their mistake, valve made the right choice unbanning all of them.
People in here talking about how Dazed has to react more like man can you not see his face when he's watching the video? He's watching what his life has come to instead of becoming the CS superstar he could've been in the pro scene. Those half-assed comments aren't because he can't react, it's because this is some of the hardest shit he has to see and he doesn't know what to say except some 3-5 word half-assed comment. His face says it all. I applaud Dazed for doing this for his viewers. He cares so much for this game and to have to rewatch his career get shit on by Valve kills this guy's heart. It takes some courage to do that shit especially in front of thousands of viewers.
For people who don’t get it, they will never be unbanned because they are a living example of what valve will do to matchfixers in their games, regardless of skill or popularity or even age. It sucks but match fixing could have became a huge problem as CS grew but Valve saw this as an opportunity to warn others.
Saddest part is what Richard Lewis said about when these players would be unbanned that they are well past their prime. 3rd time I watched this vid and still it hits me. Its so sad people would make memes about others mistakes. I think we should consider their feelings since they are human and they also regret what they did. Maybe not all can be unbanned but the potential of swag can be the embodiment of the ibp as whole that they are talented and respected.
i don't understand why Dota teams get only a year ban for match-fixing and iBP got a life time ban. I really want to see them unban and able to compete again.
Sad thing is valve won't unban them unless there is a way they can make massive money. Lets be honest valve don't care about its pro's they sure as hell don't care about us normal players. I mean look at how garbage mm is did they fix it, no they make it worse over time allowing more people to cheat, and on top of it, hey you get new skins, yeah new cases which have crap in them. Honestly I wish everyone on IBP would get unbanned but its not gonna happen, unless a miracle happens and valve needs them to make money.

it's the right step. Other organizations were to nervous to see what would happen if they unban IBP but since ESL did it without really any repercussion other organization might think it might be save to unban them.

Such a shame, DaZeD. Been watching you for a while now and I believe that as humans, we all make mistakes. As Steel said, "I am willing to donate all of the money back to charity". If all of iBP is willing to do that, then I think that you guys should have some type of second chance from Valve. You, Steel, and Brax and done nothing but continue to support the Counter-Strike franchise by participating in events like ESL as casters and analysts, and so forth. Edit: People that threw in Dota 2 only got banned for a year. Yeah. Nice Logic, Valve. Overall, I hope you get unbanned some day.
