Oh this sounds brilliant! For those who own the original Caramelldansen and want to make a similar version for their own pleasure, pop it into Audacity > select all > Effect > change pitch > change the "semitones" to -9.0 and the "pitch from" number box to "-1", and ta-dah! Once you are sure this is the version for you, undo it and do it again after clicking the "high quality stretching" box - this will take a couple of minutes to process but will sound better. Enjoy! :)
The original band was actually named "Caramell"; there's a very interesting video named "who wrote Caramelldansen?" by Jan Misali that's worth your time. It sounds like due to protracted copyright shenanigans, the band doesn't much pay attention to what the song's doing now; I doubt they know specifically about DB.
@@SenshiSunPower sorry for asking, especially so long after the fact, but what is the Slack channel? New fan, and sort of going back through the stuff I missed and just found the Caramelldansen phenomenon
Robopig 61 Slack is a group messaging app, similar to Discord. The LRR crew and likely the Desert Bus crew have their own channels. Then there are probably sub-channels for different projects. If you want to see the names of some gag sub-channels, watch Friday Nights: Amon-cats.
They're canadian but the donations are in USD. They do this every year, playing desert bus 24hrs a day for 6-7 days straight. They raise money for Child's Play a charity that works to improve the lives of kids in hospitals and shelters. You can find more info at desertbus.org or look up loadingreadyrun, the comedy troup that runs this event, they'll be able to tell you anything you wanna know about it
