Gardevoir is one of those pokemon that's very well known if you know a thing or two about pokemon, but if you were just into it as a kid or largely just looking in then you likely have no idea what you're looking at
I, for one, welcome our eventual Penelope, Overlord. (if she's talking down to unaware people {actually just tired of repeatedly explaining the origin of her stuffie} at the age of THREE; she's beyond 'mature for her age' or 'precocious' :D )

This may be dangerously meta, but I think this video right here will be the worst one for Penelope ten years hence. After all, it’s the one that calls out *all* the other ones that might embarrass her!
paraphrasing a line from GTA Vice city stories radio: I sometimes tell myself, "Fernando, you need a child, that will someday rise up against you and fight you to the death"
I could argue that being eclipsed by one's own spawn is kind of the ultimate goal. You set your offspring up for success and supported them to make sure they made it. You win at life. lol
I really see where Penelope's coming from with Gardevoir. I don't Pokemon, but I do have a dog that is a Lab/Whippet mix. I had NO concept of how obscure whippets were before I had to explain what he was when people asked. I assumed it was a well known breed. But I've had so many "What's a whippet?" questions that my explanation for him is now, "He's a Lab/Whippet mix. A whippet is like a small greyhound." It's also more than a little surprising how many people don't realize Lab is short for Labrador Retriever and think those are two separate breeds. Also if they say "is he a Lab mix?" I will just let them have that and not try to make them acknowledge the other half of what he is.
Similar to the love confession crapshot, there's the Picante (Hotline?) crapshot that would probably embarass her. I'm referring to the part when Graham gets off on someone eating hot peppers, of course.
Haven't seen the video yet, but I'm going for The Birds, The Bees, and the Bears. ...aaaand... didn't call it. Welp. Maybe don't show her that one either. :P
"lame" - slang for 'uncool, awkward' Big in the 80's-90's (Alex is a little older than most of LRR; he's probably on the cusp between Gen X & Millennial) "Oh Mah GOD! My parents are SOOOOOOO lame - they can't even get me *rea*l Lunchables; they get the Walmart knockoffs!" for example. With today's diversity, doesn't fly so well, and kids *nowadays* don't really use the slang - Z's just ACTUALLY say "my parents are so uncool" :)
@@empath69Empath alright thanks that makes sense never really thought about it. also never noticed that I and my generation don't really say it but your right now that I think about it
