I’m a beginner only super saiyan 2 rank but I’ve practiced in the lab for hours combo wise I’m ranks ahead of my actual ranking now your vids help a lot 🔥
Yeah you can go from 1 to 100 on difficulty but it will never play like a player does. At best it can help you when you're brand new to get used to moving around and fighting but after that all its good for is a really basic warmup before going online
LK would you be willing to make a video on how to deal with backsteppers/turtling or whatever you want to call it? At Living Legend this is how so many people play and its really annoying, they just never approach and it's just backdash, backdash, ki blast, backdash, beam, backdash and then if they get a hit confirm VANISH into scaled combo that ends in sliding and only then will they approach. They will just continously do that if I don't approach because they'll refuse to approach themselves. If I do approach they usually do one of three things, they will either jump back and do nothing, jump back ki blast/beam or jump back and try to point blank super dash at random times. Any hit confirm converts into a shitty little vanish combo. I know this kind of play isn't good but it's so frustrating and feels like I'm being nibbled to death.
Just a tip I’d say that’s what controlling neutral with assist helps with. A beam assist to lock them down to get a run in. Doing safe jumps and things like that. It also depends on character. For example when i use bardock they’ll usually do the same to me but a lariat beats most options they have as long as i don’t whiff and an assist behind is perfect. On the other hand characters like frieza strive off that type of play. If you hate id say develop a more lockdown heavy team. Sonicfox did this with kid buu and gt to get mix to stop that. Lock down with gt and use kid buu for mix. Try a similar play style with different characters
I have a dumb question, I'm a stick player but whenever I'm at the lab majority of the time I use pad because I don't know how to reset the lab on stick. From the sounds of it you're obviously playing on stick or a hit box, whichever one it is, how are you restarting the lab? On pad its with the touch-pad button in the middle, but how do you reset lab on stick/hitbox?
i mean, you can always just set one of the extra buttons to reset. but i use the record and playback feature a lot when i lab, so what i like to do is set the two extra outer buttons to "play training dummy" and "record training dummy" because pressing them at the same time is an other way to reset the lab.
@@aaronbenno1849 what do you mean by extra button? my stick only has 8 buttons unfortunately I use them all, SO I'm assuming you've gotten rid of the SD and D/R buttons and just use S+H for SD and L+M for D/?
Because of the timing Crossup or same side super dash is a left right mixup because the timing on both is very similar whereas with a 6m the timing is not the same as the crossup so you could easily tell which one he's doing. So it's for labbing generic left right mix It can still help to lab against 6m though
"You can practice combos and touch of deaths..." Ok, LK you don't have to act like a douche. No wonder you can't do Basegeta's loops. You have to change your attitude towards practicing combos.
