An extremely small change near the rivet avoids making a greater bend at the middle of the reed. This is a very simple and safe way to adjust the reed gap only. I might make a part 2 video about making adjustments to a reed profile and embossing. These fine adjustments are directly related to setting reed gaps, but gaps are by far the simplest and most effective adjustment.
