Imperfect Cell is one of my favorite DBZ villain. He came off as a horror villain vibe. Semi Perfect Cell is a punching bag for Vegeta and Trunks. Perfect Cell overconfident ego was understandable.
All those 3 characters ARE Cell. It's the same dude just without the Android in them. Cell gets Blue eyes once he absorbs C-18. Semi Perfect Cell is a very good transformation, and just saying that it was miserable bc Trunks & Vegeta overshadowed him is unfair to Cell's evolution. Akira wrote more story to Semi Perfect Cell, but they didn't not allow any of it bc of time issues!! that's why it feels like it jumps from Imperfect Cell to Perfect Cell waaay too fast through the 2nd form. They cut the story of Semi-Perfect Cell out! so that he absorbs 18 faster for the TV releases. I really wish they wouldn't have cut the episodes of Semi-perfect Cell so we could all see what happens before Vegeta arrives ... I wonder what it was about?
semi perfect cell should killed vegeta and torture trunks semi cell supposed to be scary so him beating vegeta bad and absorbing him then torturing trunks would been better , also imperfect cell should killed one of the z-fighters
Cell's unexpected entrance in the middle of the Android's arc is undisputedly the greatest intro ever made by an manga/anime for a vilain. Vegeta was the most charismatic, Frieza was the most evil, Buu was the most unpredictable, but Cell was the greatest threat that Goku, and the other Z fighers ever faced.

I guess that's why they both started to went fully crazy once they'll got owned in battle, knowing they lost, and destroyed everything around them without thinking of consquences - one of them being stopped by Goku from destroying the earth, and had him killed. Destroying more planets doesn't make a foe a greater threat than all the others - then Saiyans would be the greatest threat by approving that logic. Unlike Buu, Cell, and Frieza were 100% aware of their actions, and calculating which makes them more dangerous. Buu couldn't survive a Genkidama launched at him, unlike Frieza - who is way weaker - and could have been easily beated by Gohan, or Gotenks, while Cell only lost because a very short-lasting dristraction after defeating the strongest Z fighters. Never forget also that Buu always relied on absorbtion to get a power boost, while Cell didn't really need the twin Androids to get stronger due to his abilty to get zenkai boosts thanks to his Saiyan cells. So no, those undeniable facts show why Buu wasn't a greater threat than Cell. How can Buu be the greatest threat if his abilities are purely a rip-off from Cell's ?
That scene might have been inspired from the police station scene from the Terminator. Both that girl and Sarah hiding behind the desk while the guards shoot at the villain to no avail.

The most horrific thing is it doesn’t matter if they run and hide, Cell can sense ki. There’s no escaping from him and he offers a fate worse than death because the victims aren’t dead they’re stuck inside him
They should’ve instead submitted themselves to cell. He would’ve absorbed them with his heavenly tail funnel open like he absorbed the androids and peacefully make them part of his heavenly body

Yes, unfortunately they're lost media at this point. The Funimation DVD and blu-rays completely redid the audio and visuals of the show and for the worse...
@@WestSide1207 Yeah because that's the redub? I own the entire series as I first experienced it. Ocean dub for the first two seasons, funimation for the rest. The only difference is funimation is uncensored, the audio is the same
I actually remember this scene from my childhood but I thought the guy was protecting his family, also I got the censored version of what the scene was when cell was about to strike they cut off the scene where the tail goes into that guy and all I heard was a gurgling sound so I didn’t know what happened to him until my teenage years.
One thing that I would have done differently is that when Imperfect Cell was absorbing people, I would have had him use Tien's technique of splitting himself into 4 and then absorb people. That way, he could absorb 4 TIMES as many people and become that much more powerful. Also, when Imperfect Cell absorbed this person in this scene, I would have shown the victim's skin melting and dissolving just like the time Imperfect Cell absorbed the really rich guy when we first met him in his introduction scene.
I think what I find most horrifying that a lot of people tend to forget, is when Cell powers up against Piccolo, you can see "souls" in his Ki. Which tells me that all the people he's consumed are technically still alive and suffering all to power his body.

What's so terrifying is that Cell can move faster than sound and juggle skyscrapers. If he wanted to, he could have done this so quickly no one would have time to realize they died. Instead, Cell takes his time and relishes everyone's fear and powerlessness in the face of his overwhelming might. He's a true sadist who enjoys having power over others.
Imperfect cell was an incredibly unique design and I think he was in someways the smartest. He was in his weakest form so he had to rely on his cunningness and sharp common sense. The more powerful he became the more arrogant he was which eventually was his weakness.
The good old times when Dragonball Z wasnt a comedy kids show like DBS... i miss that brutal hard Dragonball scenes and brutal fights. Dragonball Super didnt have blood at all... boring and that shit graphic design like cartoon 🤮
I know this is anime and all, but just how much bullets did magazine hold before running out? *If* that was based on any real life gun, then it *should’ve* held no more then twenty to near thirty, *not* fifty to a hundred, and I don’t see extra magazines to account for all of that cartridges either.
Dude was probably professional firearms expert and was reloading so fast but ran out of magazines. But obviously it's just non fiction at work. Just like Rick grimes never reloading his revolver.
