He chose to keep the name Piccolo. Since the body was Piccolo's, he figured it would be easier to just carry on being known as what everyone else knew him as. It's clear that the fusion was in Piccolo's favour since it help his mind, fighting prowess and meticulous planning. Kami's infusion gave him more wisdom and a level head but overall, the Namek was mostly Piccolo.
TFW the original anime version loops at around 1:12 and is super repetitive, but the GBA version goes a full 5:17 without looping and has a ton of great stuff added to it. Man, I'm honestly beginning to think I love the Faulconer OST because of the Legacy of Goku games rather than the original OST>
I played these games before watching the Faulconer dub.. So i cant have nostalgia for the dub (i was 15-16 when i saw it first or shit)..this is another story.
The show's version of this track was so short and repetitive, this version is fantastic. I'd love to see someone on RU-vid orchestrate it at some point.
It's even stranger that the game's version is longer given that it only plays once and the P vs. 17 fight doesn't even last very long in game. I draw out the fight just so I can hear most of the song.
Verywiseguy7 Most of the tracks in this game are at least slightly lengthened. I suppose this might have just been the composer's favourite from the Faulconer Productions set list so it got embellished.
This is the best of the trilogy. I love Buu's Fury due to the amazing soundtrack and fast paced action, but it's got like no challenge. The first game was poorly programmed in several areas, and it has challenge early on, but was considered challenging for all the wrong reasons. This one while easy, wasn't so easy to the point where there was no game. It not only fixed everything wrong with the 1st game, it also added a wide variety of other stuff. The Soundtrack is also great as seen here. And best of all, is that Piccolo is my personal favorite character.
Try Buu's Fury with no stat points, harder than both 1 and 2 by far lol. I didn't know you could use stat points as a kid...somehow got to Kid Buu though.
The hardest, in my opinion, I've never had so much trouble with a boss, but against 17, I died like 15 times (not exaggerating) Because of that 3 phases that I needed to fight him, I was kinda under trained with him too.But the music kept me determined :))
Hardest boss in the game until I got him stuck behind the tree and started punching the crap out of him but still for all the times you won 17 gg my due gg...
This game is the best, it really felt like I was in the world, but I have to say buus fury just felt like another RPG with all the new addons and waaayy to much grind. The level/stat system in this game was the best!
this game such a classic so much nostalgia. this reminds me of my blessed childhood. i have to admit back then i didnt realize but this game was the best gba game i played. you easily can tell the developers who made this game watched the show and enjoyed putting falconers music and a really accurate story line of course aside from the rpg gameplay. its amazing how no dbz game today have no falconer music even though every dbz fan asks the developers do put it in. most are selfish and lazy
same here, or i played it smart and toyed with Cell. Also its funny how the games never revealed this was ssj2, just super saiyan rage. Then in super we get that term used for Future Trunks transformation
this version plays when Piccolo fights 17 a slightly shortened version plays when Gohan goes SSJ2: it doesn't have the part from 0:00-0:17 and starts from 0:18 instead; and when it starts to loop, it doesn't play 0:18-0:36 and starts repeating from 0:37 instead. they're the exact same song, but different versions. you don't hear this "full" version when Gohan transforms.
If I had one wish in Dragonball, it would be that Piccolo would keep up with Goku and Vegeta in Dragonball Super. I miss badass fighting, action Piccolo. Daddy/Teacher Piccolo is nice. But I miss him being in the thick of things.
The hardest parts about this game was when you had to relocate all 3 eggs without getting hit.... and both boss fights with Piccolo against Cell and 17 😂😭 also Leveling up Piccolo to level 50 for his statue

They played most of the songs from this game in the show. This song is called Super Namek in the game and show. You should try listening to Bruce Falconer's soundtrack.
I have two copies of this game. All of the save files are my favorite fights in the game. like the fight between piccolo and 17, the cell games of course, etc. etc. I also have one open file and one perfect file where all characters are max level and hercule is unlocked.
When I was a kid after finishing the game I made another save file at the piccolo vs android 17 fight permanently so whenever I wanted I could listen to this song.
AWWWW damn dude i remember i had to stock up on cookies like a mf.... needless to say i got my as handed to about ten times, so me being a little kid i found a glitch and used it to take 17 down....
That's pretty strange considering the only music that plays in the show is HS music. Unless you were watching a dub other than the English Dub. Such as Ocean Dub.
what saved me through that fight was the mountain. i hod in the corner while 17 derped out and i idled so piccolo would autoheal, then id repeat till i won.
***** A bit of a late reply, but if you want the full expierence either play it on a GBA or a ds lite. My gba is darker in quality than most so my DS lite plays most of the good gba games well
Lol I have android and an iPod so I use a file app to transfer my songs (from RU-vid to mp3) from android to iPod, I got over like 700 songs while others are paying for music and are limited in choice
