The bottom is actually accurate, there's an episode where it's flipped and it's exactly as the toy looks, except it's grey... which is the colour on the older DC direct model
I pre-ordered this and honestly I was super pissed off and thought I was gonna miss out. Target kept telling me that it was on backorder and eventually a day before it released, they cancelled my order because they had none in stock. I went to like 5 Target stores that day after calling them and them CONFIRMING they had it in stock. No they did NOT and had no idea where it was. 2-3 days later I go to my local Target where I originally ordered it from and THERE IT IS! ...one Target gave me a $10 gift card for the inconvenience. It was nice but I was still pissed. Thank you to that nice lady though. She could tell I was frustrated AF that day.
I pre order it too and they kept pushing back the shipping date. Ended up going to my local target and it was there along with the Joker mobile. I picked up the Batmobile because I always wanted it and missed out on the orginal. Canceled my pre order. Love mine.
This piece is really cool. Its made for the DC six inch line, so none of the Mcfarlane figs will fit. I put a Mezco Golden Age Batman in the cockpit, and it looks awesome.
I figured it was for a different line. The Mafex Hush Batman ended up fitting really well. I'm still looking for the Mafex animated series batman to see if he will fit.
@@BigBoyToyReviews you can do a video if find one but I mean give me KITT with the bells and whistles with the front/back headlights his sensor and the dash board lights up in this price range. All the KITT cars only light up the sensor. I believe there's a model kit that does that but I don't do model kits (I don't have the artisticness or patience 🤣🤣🤣)
In the series the car is blue. When DC direct orginally released it the car was black.I think they released two different versions, both black but the other is cromed painted for the rims and grill, etcetera. They were supposed to do a joker mobile back then but now that McFarland has the license he put it out. The animated series batwing is also coming. A little more to spend on that but also cool. Nice review I should look into some other Batman figures. Right now the ones I have are either McFarland or Mattel.
Thanks for the info, I wish I could get my hands on the chromed out bat mobile. As far as the batman figures I collect, I really just do Mafex as of right now. I haven't seen any McFarlane Batman figures that I like, and a bit out of scale for my collection. I haven't looked in to Mattel. I might take a look at them.
I have the original version. I like that they made the new one blue. I have the blue version of Jazz Inc's 1/6 scale BTAS Batmobile on Pre-Order. I can't wait to have that in hand.
Yes!! Mine had weird dents all over the body I counted 8 of them. The cockpit was so loose and the clear plastic was scratched and had prints on them. The QC was so poor. I went back to exchange only to hear that had to be on waitlist due to stock shortage. Got a refund instead.
