While trick arrows would have been cool, this is based on a story where he stopped using them. The idea was that he was relying on them too much, and his not using them would force him to improve as an archer and a crime fighter. Kind of a "back to basics" thing.
+ShartimusPrime he has boxing glob arrow diamond arrow climing arrow nuclear wordwog arrow and normal arrows torado arrows ice arrows and the lits goes on and on ps acied arrows
@@ganglandplor8504 Holy crap I completely forgot I commented this. We have to look at this at two perspectives. In ARROW (tv show) and Hawkeye from mcu, Hawkeye would win. We know that when Hawkeye has nothing to lose, he will kill without hesitation. Arrow would find every possible way not kill someone. So that gives Hawkeye an advantage. In the comics though, Green arrow would be able to take out Hawkeye. Yes granted in the Hawkeye series, we’ve seen Hawkeye go through a lot. But in the first issue of GREEN ARROW REBIRTH, Oliver took on his sister, and shado. This too completely messed him up. He had multiple arrow wounds. If Hawkeye were to fight them, he would die. This means in the comics Green arrow has a higher durability. You might say “oh Hawkeye is able to make impossible shot with his bow and arrow”. This is true, but Green arrow would get the upper hand due to his durability and his hand to hand combat skills. But to each there own. We can both agree to disagree. And thank you for this, u really made me think.
@@Prozakc.O I completely agree. In a hand to hand combat. There could really be one person who survives. That’s Oliver. But it would be one hell of a fight though.
ScrewAttack is doing a Death Battle between Hawkeye and Green Arrow. Death Battle is a show where two characters are pitted together, analyzed for weapons, armor, skills, all that good stuff. The purpose of the show is to establish who would win in a fight. Batman beat Captain America, Doctor Doom beat Darth Vader, Iron Man beat Lex Luthor, Superman beat Goku (That one was insanely controversial, and people still debate it), Thor beat Raiden, Deadpool beat Deathstroke, and so on.
+Dustin Walsh (MrThorsStone) Didn't Hawkeye outdo Green Arrow as an archer and steal his girlfriend in the JLA/Avengers crossover? He even got offered membership on the Justice League roster.
@ShartimusPrime It the Long Bow Hunters version of Green Arrow. In the story he was learning to be a better archer. Went back to basic hence the regular bow and arrows.
I do mostly like what I see but having to keep things tight I will be passing. Keeping my want list short to Hal and Joker so far. Loved the review bro and just really enjoying all the content!
I'm sorry....I do like these guys, but I wish they were bigger, like 6.50 or something. They just seem to small. Kind of makes me worried for figures I'm WANTING to buy, like the Aquaman one, or Superman, or Blue beetle. But, even though I'm bumed at the scale, I do like this figure. Though some parts look like they are made of cheap clay, its an alright figure. (Also, who would win?.....it would be a draw I personally think.)
shart quick question what are those moving stand things because i hope to do more reviews on my channel but i want them to be pretty good quality? and were do you get them and how much do they cost.
I already have Batman and currently waiting for Superman and the Killing Joke version of The Joker from the same line. Hopefully somewhere along the way, they will make other heroes like Robin, Nightwing, Shazam, Deathstroke, Lex Luthor, Jonah Hex and Wonder Woman, just to name a few. These figures are awesome.
You are a great poser, I gotta say. I always have trouble figuring out what poses I should do for my figures, but if I ever get any of these figures (which I plan to) I'll probably just use your poses.
They'll both shoot an arrow at the same time ... The arrows will hit each other and cause a cosmic explosion that kill everyone on what ever world the fight happened
Green Arrow would totally take out Hawkeye. Green Arrow really doesn't have the trick arrows anymore - he lost those in the mid-80s. Sometimes he shows up with incendiary arrows, explosives, and on occasion Kryptonite - now THAT would have been a cool arrow to get - actually all 3 would have been....
Man, this line is looking better with every review! Only thing I don't like is that crazy stomach joint...feels like they used articulation know-how for everything but that. I don't really get it. It does nothing that a ball-joint at the waist wouldn't do (and a ball-jointed waist would look better, move better, and provide the missing waist articulation). Otherwise, this line looks made for me! I never got that far into DC Universe, so I've got a nice open slot for many DC characters I've never bought before.
Hey Russ are you going to review Deadman? I think its the figure I want out of this line. I was just hoping you would lend your expertise. Love the channel Sir Sharts of Prime.
It doesn't have paint shading because its meant to look like it walked off the pages of a comic, also pretty much no costume in real like would have different shaded areas, all colour and shading variations come from shadows and light , shading to me spoils the look
Miklo San Roman to represent dynamic lighting yes BUT to make a figure that represents this classic comic /cartoon look you do it EXACTLY like these figures.
I feel like Green Arrow is a more accurate archer than Hawkeye. Didn't Green Arrow pull some ridiculous shit in the comic books where he shot an apple off of somebody's head while shooting backwards or something?
Green Arrow vs Hawkeye? Hawkeye. Don't get me wrong I love Green Arrow and I prefer DC over Marvel but Hawkeye is better at hand to hand and has better trick arrows.
dude Hawkeye was trained at a circus, Arrow was trained 5yrs on an island, he was trained by Yeo fei, Slade Wilson, Shado, Maseo, Natas and has Half of the training from RA'S al gul. so basically an assassin. Hawkeyes nothing without his bow he lost to a chick in Civil war
+ Oliver King Dude, in the comics he was trained by Natas. The same guy who trained the freakin' DEATHSTROKE, who always gives Batman a run for his money. Do you want better than than? Green Arrow for the win. If not in the 40s and 60s, then post-Longbow Hunters, 80s to 2000s, New 52 versions, and SURELY the CW Series version. Sure, Arrow isn't on par with Batman, but he managed to subdue Deathstroke in a number of times. And whoever is able to take on Deathstroke, under any given circumstances, will always be in my book!!
The Stark Knight Returns I totally agree I mean hawkeye isn't even his own hero he doesn't have a arch villain or his own comic his just a sidekick for the avengers
It's a rough call to see who would win in a fight lol. I believe Hawkeye is a better hand to hand fighter IMO. He was trained by Steve Rogers and even had that short stint as Ronin. Comic wise, I think Arrow would win Stephen Amell vs Jeremy Renner's on screen version: I think Hawkeye would win.
Arrow would he has more training than ever he was trained by yao Fei, Slade Wilson, Shado, Maseo,Natas, and has Half of the training from RA'S al gul. where was Hawkeye trained at a circus? The guys nothing without his bow, Arrow is a fighter 5yrs on an island and is two handed, plus he killed and took down alot of his enemies, Hawkeye doesn't even have any enemies. ARROW wins Hawkeye 0 there's a reason why his name has Arrow in it instead of something random like Hawkeye
