@AnointedFlow yes that's a great point, I love the blue beetle movie its a really good newly Sculpted figure but the fact they made 2 versions just because they want to include different accessories in each of them is ridiculous. They really should've made him a deluxe figure like neca does sometimes even though they are way different from them. Hopefully they will do what they did with Jim Gordon batman in terms of accessories moving forward but I doubt it.
They really also did screw up Matt reeves batman from the batman. I really don't understand why they couldn't just place batmans extra bike hand and his unmasked head and grapple gun and baterang with the original masked batman all in one box. It probably would've still sold out sure but it's ridiculous I have to get the bike and masked and unmasked batman to make just 1 a deluxe
The one thing that bothers that they never fix is giving their figure’s accessories that they mainly use the most in the movies or shows or even comics. Just put it as part of the figure what is so hard. You’re not gonna hurt anyone

I guess the point of not giving him a trident is to force you to buy King Kordax if you want the trident....if not King Kordax wouldn't be selling that well compared to Black Manta ( that's just my guess ) but yeah they should've at least giving him knifes or any kind of weapon
Yeah it definitely seems like almost kinda of a scummy move on mcfarlanes part. I'll still get 2 king dorax for that reason but I just don't know if he'll be available for a while or will peg warm or sell out quick. It's ridiculous they couldn't just include a trident with 7 inch black manta.

The info seems concrete and the Trident that comes with Kordax is intended for Black Manta. Perhaps there's some kind of origin story where in the movie, Manta steals it from the king and it's some ancient relic of power. If so that seems like a logical reason for it to be packed with a different character. Unless it's just a money-grubbing scheme. I guess we'll find out when the movie comes out
Even if that’s true, both figures should come with the trident. Alternatively, Black Manta should come with some sort of weapon to pose with. I don’t think there’s any valid reason for this omission.

I don’t like the smaller manta figure the head doesn’t look good but the bigger manta statues body and head look just perfect 👍🏼 I’m getting that one right now thanks to this bud.
Todd knew king Kordax will collect dust in store shelves that's why Manta's trident was not included 😂😂😂 I passed on buying BM of aqm 2 just bought the page punchers very. I had a weird vibe that huge eyes and head gives me an alien vibe 😅
The image on the card has a trident, but the figure doesnt have it. Ridiculous. Its definitely so we purchase king kordax if we want the trident. I agree i would have preferred a weapon over the flight stand.
🤔 I suppose you could use one of the weapons in a McFarlane accessory pack for Manta and visualize him launching a land attack with a machine gun on some foreign naval base.
I’m trying to decide if I should get page punchers or the movie manta to go with my movie Aquaman display. I really like the blades on the page punchers but I like the movie Aquaman for the outfit so I can’t decide.
That’s a cop out, in my view. He often uses weapons across all media. The art card shows him with the black trident. The trailer shows him with the black trident. If his weapon is his helmet, include some optical blast effects.
Page Punchers blows this out of the water (😏), for sure! WeaponS, comic, and the detailed sculpt are fantastic. While comic accurate, this is so bland.
McFarlane seems like he's getting cheaper and lazier at times. The articulation on the 7in is borderline atrocious. Packaging this figure without ANY kind of weapons makes the figure damn near useless. WE should not have to purchase a figure in the line we're not interested in just to get its trident from it. Even if you don't give BM a trident at least some sort of weapon would have been suffice.
