McFarland should make a wave 2 of Batman and Robin figures with Batman,Robin, and Batgirl all in their final black and silver suits and bane being th build a figure
I would love to see that bane! I would also like to see a rerelease of the previous megafig bane. I couldn’t get my hands on one and I’m not keen on pulling the trigger on the third party pricing.
It would be incredible if McFarlane toys released figures from the movies Watchmen, Green Lantern, Jonan Hex, Steel, Catwoman, Superman (from the first films) and the CW series.
The ice piece that comes with Robin is made to cover his face and left shoulder. If you look at the ice in the right light you can actually see a slight face in the sculpt
This is a surprisingly awesome wave! I should point out that the shoulder pads on Freeze r backwards n on the wrong shoulders. The box n promo art got it wrong lol A Bane figure would be nice but how about the real stars, Alfred & Commisioner Gordon? They should at least get some love for being the only 2 characters that were never recast. (Robin doesn't count, he showed up with the newbies in Batman Forever n he was originally supposed to be played by Marlon Wayans) lol
Hello! It’s very cool that these figures based on the 1997 film Batman and Robin have finally come out! Only Bane, as in the film, is not original enough in the collection! Let's wait for the Bane figurine to arrive! :)
Great line! Faves are Uma and Arnold. BTW, the Freeze shoulder pads are on backwards. I know they’re packed that way, but you’ll see if you swap them around (or compare to production photos).
My only gripe? Those plastic capes.. I wish they'd put cloth capes on figures like this. Its a real shame, that we had to wait over 20 years, for the figures we all really wanted, and dreamed of.. But they still put the plastic capes on them, just like back in the 90's. I was almost sold on Batman, Robin and Batgirl. But those capes are the reason I haven't bought them.
Toyshiz, this is the shiz😉. Oe of the best baf waves in recent memory McFarlane or otherwise. So much was done right. Consistent paint, sculpt, and well rendered figures whichever you chose. Not having Bane as the baf is fine as he can be released as a mega figure maybe with the batsignel (there is one made already). Those together could justify a $40 or so price point. The hockey goons could be a mutipack, three or so. The future does look good for McFarlane toys. Excellent wtf video ✌️
Still annoyed for McFarlane not to make a batsignal or Bane (I know, wrong movie but still) a baf for Batman Forever Wave. A BAT? We're buying this wave to make a giant plastic bat?
if you think about it, the designs of the characters were pretty cool. (Even the bat nipples that everyone freaked out about? I'm OKAY with them). It's the campy plot (Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze don't gel well AT ALL, hence they're never together in the animated series), endless ice puns, and ice skates (eyeroll) the fact that Ahnold is pretty silly casting for a scientist with an illness (still think Patrick Stewart would have been better)... all those things nickle and dime the movie to "showgirls" level enjoyment.
Nice review! I said it earlier but to me the biggest WTF figure this year was definitely The Condiment King from McFarlane's Batman: The Animated Series line 😀
“ Back then they didn’t want me now all [explocit] want me”- Mike Jones Everybody wants those toys now But back then In 97’ no one wanted to touch em’ smh
If my memory serves me right, he is a figure from the Mattel days of DC Multiverse. He had an interchangeable head of the 66 TV show Alfred and another one in reference to a Silver Age comic.
Who ever didnt like these movies were to old and the market was for a younger audience, exactly why andrew garfields spiderman was hated back then and then loved now because the younger audience can now voice their opinion.
@@ToyShiz yet people cant get over the fact that they are getting figures from those movies? Thats why you made this video right? Guaranteed video that brings in views? To you it was meh but those younger than you that saw it in a different light.
