I just got mine today at GameStop. He’s honestly better in hand. I think I might try to turn him into a superboy prime to go with the crisis on infinite earths wave. And I agree on the 2-pack Ultraman Superman. People are sleeping on that figure.
Definitely has his own interesting look... I'll be buying two more when I get the chance... I'm interested to look into a Legion Superboy..the face really has that look...👍💀
The face looks like dean Cain who played Superman in the 90s. I’d want to switch to the same head and get smaller hands too. Even with the head he comes with its cool. I just got it the other day.
I love this figure despite the non classic trunks, double boot chevrons and wrist bands. Krypto looks great with him. I got 2 with the intention of removing the hair from one and putting it on a Superboy Prime head, hoping for a Curt Swan Superman look.
The white cape from shazam might be a good cape to swap onto Justice Lord Superman. What do you think? I dont own that shazam figure, but i hate the cape on Justice Lord Supes and Eradicator
I got mine last week and did a trunks swap and didn't like the look and tried a cape and head swap but ended up pitting everything back! what did you have to mod for the trunks to look right because I swapped the whole crotch joint and I didn't like how far the the trunks stuck out from his back, or did you do the same thing and are just ignoring how far out they are in the back?
No.... I'm keeping it kit bashed because I did the work to make it look correct... I don't wanna explain everything but first I actually cut out a trench in the front where the crotch joint slides in... This allows the trunks to butt up against the front waist... Then I actually sliced them down the sides... Then glued them back together this actually makes them a smaller radius and removes the excess material that would make it stuck out in the back... So made it a tighter fit and actually looks great... Then again I have a lot of experience customizing...👍💀
@@bonesandthenecrozoo ah, I don't cut and splice anymore because I can never get it to stay glued, but if thays what it takes for this figure I might try cutting again!
While the smiling headsculpt is strange and a little creepy, it's growing on me lol. Love your kitbash! Definitely getting an extra Shazam so I can swap out those ginormous hands! The Shazam ones work perfectly! I always liked the Page Punchers Superman body, even though I'm not crazy about the cape. I agree the colors they chose are really nice and work great on this Superman.
