ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I really would've preferred the second costume with the black boots and gloves, so much that I actually forgot this version existed even. I wished the ball hinges articulation on the hands were black so it would hide those a bit

Personally I love how Mcfarlane handles superman figures. His love for the character is evident and as a collector who doesn't collect superman in general, I own all of the Mcfarlane superman offerings. Looking forward to this version for sure.

Just picked up regular Superman today after getting a few more figs from the line last week. This whole line is currently very underrated IMO and one of the reasons why is I think the figures remarkably look better out of their packaging than in. They are also much more posable than I first thought they would be. The scale has quickly grown on me too I see no reason why this line needs to be in scale with others. Looking forward to the improvements and new releases to come.

You should really try these. They are bigger, but for a cheaper price than marvel legends. If you want a great first impression, buy the Arkham knight Batman

I don't hate that Mcfarlane use the same mold body, I hate that didn't really fix the previous issues, the protuberant ball hands for example, I feel kinda lacks of sculpt and paint, I don't know I feel It could be better

@@ultimateslinger9857 I agree his ball joints provide a really good range of articulation, but there are better ways to hide them, I honestly hate the protuberant thing on them, and man don't get me wrong I love the line, un fact I have the action comics #1000 superman, but I just think they could fix issues and make them better

I love how these action figures are designed to pose not to be played with so that's probably why they don't have as much articulation as per say a Marvel Legends figure. When I'm buying/collecting an action figure I look for detail more so than articulation, don't get me wrong a figure needs the perfect articulation and I think that's what McFarlane dose best is that it combines both detail and articulation to give you the satisfaction you deserve and you don't have to collect every figure McFarlane creates because I'm only out for the comic book characters not movie or tv characters.

I got this figure yesterday and it's my first McFarlane multiverse figure, I love it it looks super cool if it was 6 inches, had double jointed elbows and 2 fist it would be perfect

Ok this figure painted like Superman Red Son with the black behind the red on the emblem and black on the Vs of the boot would have made this figure look so much better.... I think I’ll Custom mine to match the movie.

I picked him up from Target for $19.99 6 days ago. He weighs 138 g. He's lighter than the Action Comic 1000 Superman. That version weighs 152 g. Even the animated version Superman weighs more than Red Son at 144 g. The Unchained Armor version comes in at 234 g. I wish Red Son Superman used a thicker/beefier body though.

4:39 Gah I can't help but agree. I'm pretty much all in on this line (collected a ton of Icons figures but sold them off in preparation of this new line) but I still get super frustrated just trying to stand these figures up in a somewhat neutral position; and don't even get me started on trying to stand them up in a some kind of action pose. I get what they're going for with that articulation but that doesn't mean it still isn't a massive pain in the ass.

Different artist draw Superman different ways. At this point Mcfarlane has two Superman bodies. They will likely favor the Infected body as it's being used for Bizarro and Death Metal Superman. It looks like the Snyder Justice League Superman might be a 3rd body but it's hard to tell because it could just be all the texture. Also the various Superman in the comics all lead different lives so they don't look exactly the same. Some of them aren't truly the same person though they. Red Son Superman for example isn't as alien as his usual counterpart(spoilers). Another Superman is a black man. Superman on another world is a woman. Then of course they can just make improvements to the body mold. Infected Superman has double jointed arms.

Yeah, won't be buying this figure. My vision of an action figure collection is having all comic accurate characters together in one big shelf, but this figure is not that at all. Thanks for helping me decide!
