This game would deserve a remaster with modern engines but it still has its old charm its a good game some things like powers and graphics are bit outdated they probably dont want to remaster this cause it has this comic style look
Still got games like RuneScape which was the OG of them all still going. W101 is up there too. Haven't touched them for years but the fact that they still have dedicated players for their age is nostalgic.
Sadly.... Marvel does not seem willing to make such a game.... or to spend all the ressources neeeded to make such a game. Last MMO the made was Marvel heroes.... And then they made the Marvel Avengers game... .... and I will not mention Midnight Suns... ;) Marvel Rivals seems to be what we can expect from Marvel for now.
What I Really really like about the current Episode is that it goes back to when I first started this game with Luthor wanting Superman dead. Then he finally achieved that but was met with Brainiac. For me being a new player, it seemed like they forgotten that storyline but I was wrong😊
We just got a new dlc a month and a half ago and the next one is already announced, comming on September. Check it out! New devs also said that they are comming back to what they did back in the good days. New episode every 3 months. Hopefully they start creating new locations and stop re using the old ones unless it's necessary for the episode. WB is kinda tough do licensing and copyright.
I LOVE this game. The customization in this game is absolutely insane. I’ve been playing since 2013 and I’m still learning new things. If you guys need help, RU-vid is a great place to learn. Look up the best loadout for your power, learn both your roles, what artifacts to use, how to complete certain feats to get more skill points and get more powerful. I love this game
This game could really make a massive come back if they make some of the cosmetic changes the player base is asking for. It seemed like they were only listening to the players on the test servers. We’ve asked for a morality change for a while because one side of community has more player than the other, power color shaders for more creativity, edited movement appearances. But alas with a reduced staff they can’t do too much. I get they are doing what they can.
if u like superpowers, superhero's, villains and DC or even marvel play this game don't let the oldness of the graphics put you off its a very fun game I played it on release and go back to play it all the time if ur bored of ur current games and don't wanna spend any money I highly recommend
It's fun doing the character making and seeing all the powers. Fun to travel the open world. The end of game grind is worse with the addition of legendary allies. Its takes forever to level them. There's also the skill point grind which is usually just tedious. Add in artifiacts and exos, and omni gear. It actually was easier when you grinded exos and modded gear. No allies no arts. I like the omni gear, exos, and aug grinds, those seem fair and fun and worth. The artifacts and allies grind is terrible.
I do wish I got more into this game, played it a few times with a friend of mine but didnt get to the endgame, I kinda did so i could experience the raids but didnt have a guilld to do the raids with, plus i played some of the dark nights metal missions and they were hard as fuck
I remember years ago I got the power pack on some website like G2A or gameflip or something for like 12 bucks so I have all the powers, totally worth it IMO as I can make even more varieties of characters, I feel like if your gonna spend any money on the game itd be that, quite a lot of value for 12 smacks IMO... honestly one of my fav things to do in the game is jus make characters, wether it be a cool hero with a cool power/movement/weapon combo or making random heros/villains based on random characters like I remember making Mr Clean with celestial god powers and once I made Shaggy who could fly and use quantum powers lmfao...
@@lobso123 Or. You could buy powers and keep them permanently without membership. Once I bought rage. It became my power of choice , I was a pretty good tank back in my hayday
Update the editor system back to original and then it would be better, literally the reason I stopped playing was the editor system like it’s so atrocious,I think they found a random thing to update bc they had no other good ideas to save their life
game was great but trust me it's a husk of what it once was. I would never suggest anyone get into this game nowadays. Extreme lack of content has hurt the game immensely, everything is extremely repetitive, and all they focus on are new lootbox styles to sell to everyone for that 1 more SP progress.
I'm sorry but there isn't a lack of content as you say. Forty seven episodes full of content single player duo four player eight player raids. 13 years of content, yes, I agree, repetitive.Yes I agree but boring no. Is it a dead game, hell no. Is it still a fun game to invest in?Yes. 4. New players potentially fifty fifty, Only because those players haven't been here since a year one like me. I have followed and played d c u o since it's released date jan. 11, 2011. And I still love the game and will love the game until licensing ends.
@@cutiepie6796 It has better combat than most MMOs, actually having combos and beat em up style combat instead of JUST boring tab targeting with pressing like 1-9 on your keyboard lmfao...
Nice advertising. Now make an honest one mate and tell the new players all the bad things too,be honest so they know what they are getting themselves into.Showing ppl a game and telling all the good stuff about it only is a bit misleading dont ya think?? Yes dcuo is a fun game but there are lots of bad things come with it too,the toxic playerbase for one..
Why do you want to rain on his parade?? He just started playing.... maybe he did not encounter any Bad stuff yet?? You mention the toxic playerbase.... but.... if you play mostly solo.... or with friends.... odds are you are not aware of the toxic players. And the Bad stuff is relative. For example the Clamp..... for some it is bad.... for others it is good. So... is the Clamp bad or good?? He had a positive experience playing DCUO.... Why do you want to take that away from him??
@@DCUOMultiverse Please. Its obvious he either played the 1st missions (till lvl 30 if that) and called it a day and made a video about his experience. But dcuo is much more complex,we both know that. I have no problem with someone who generally enjoying the game.I -hovewer- have a problem when you try to say only good things about the game and nothing about the downsides. He is fooling ppl, because ppl who come to the game will find its much more complex and not all sunshine and rainbow. When you make a video about an ugly style you voice your disappointment when its shit, and you say good things about good styles. You dont just say "its amazing to everything",are you? To be honest,i've got the vibe from this video they asked a joirnalist to do a positive video,so he sat down, played like 20 missions and he made a very positive video about it.Thats the vibe i've gotten trough the whole video. He is definitely a noob who didnt play over lvl 30 and not an endgame player. Im perfectly happy with ppl who still have fun with this game,i've got nothing against them.I have problem when somebody tries to advertise something with only good things.Lets be reasonable and mention good or bad things together,so ppl know its a fun game but gonna have some downsides.I hate when someone/something is not genuine and this video aint it.Hence my comment about "good advertising".
sorry to tell ya but DCUO is completely trash if u care about being good at the game arts/allies make up 90% of ur character and your not getting that far without that
I hope people see my comment and to not listen to u I play the game today with a CBR rating of 427 and it’s a Superman CAC the game is fine and u don’t even need all of that u just lied because u suck at the game
No the game isn’t sorry I’m not hating on you but the game is terrible may look good but trust me they want you the spend a lot just to be better at this game I’ve played since day one stop over a year ago anyone else who want or try I recommend u don’t play it believe me
Yeah that’s an opinion I don’t agree with. Sure there are many things and currencies that ARE available for purchase with real money, but in my 5 years of experience with DCUO it’s not pay to win by any means. It’s fun, and I’m sure it’s probably easier trying to grind for currencies with a league or some friends. Nothing really super hard about it honestly.
@@SuperFan02 you have 5 years of experience I’ve since playing since day one game was amazing back in the day pvp wars heros and villains what the game was meant ever since they added arts they started alot of paid stuff now there’s no double art Xp u need allies I’m maxed sp arts and cr
@@SuperFan02 the game was at its perfection back then now u may seem it doesn’t but when u get to the point you’ll see stopped playing but just want to give people heads up about this game the honest thing about it
I disagree with you on this, I've been playing this game since 2011 on ps3, and now I'm on ps5. Since then, they've made all episodes and upcoming episodes free, you can grind all currency in the game for free, you can upgrade arts to 200 without dropping a dime, you can get stabilizers for free also the only time people spend money is because they want to its not mandatory.
@@daveonewinn9981 nah don’t believe you honestly it’s good u played too since then but no we need to give our honest opinion about the game money grabbing shit box of a game now
@@RobinSNW561 It's a superhero MMORPG made by Cryptic, based on the Champions PnP tabletop ruleset from the 80s. It's one of the most customization-heavy games there are where you can play any hero you can imagine. DCUO doesn't hold a candle...Not to mention it has better graphics as well. Unfortunately it's a forgotten game and because of its low popularity it's more on the life support side of the gaming industry, but it does have a very dedicated community and developers who still bring content from time to time.
