This makes it look so epic. It's awesome to fight alongside your favourite DC characters. More updates come so often. It's an awesome game, but a big download for PC. Everyone get this game and enjoy it.
I love this game! I play as both hero and villain This game is also the best marketing strategy DC Comics could ever come up with. It will attract new readers by getting them interested in the DC Universe and it's characters
Funny how the powers shown, only 2 were actually in the game when it was released: Ice and Sorcery. Atomic game much later and the purple one, don't know what that was, maybe Mental. And this game, with all of it's glitches, was great until the hack. Then the real problems began. I miss the beginnings of this game. Now it's all about how much money they can make with microtransactions.
@Itsooz i think it is, think about it the massive amount of people that enjoy playing rpgs online may find that they like these characters alot and decide to get into their comics, the fans of the comics will automatically want to play them right away so thats a win-win right there. as for being mediocre thats to be seen. i liked city of heroes a great deal and that was not based on either brand, just borrowed from both heavily. but this could work if handled well
@Itsooz that statement may have mattered about 20 or so years ago but really its just a brand name, they swap artists and writers back and fourth between the two so they can work on all sorts of properties. and how does dc get its ass kicked so bad exactly? do you even read any of their stuff? or watch any of their animated movies/series? and you really shouldnt knock a product before trying it especially an mmo being back by pc and console users has quite a bit of appeal to it as it is
I seriously thougt there for a moment when he said and "whit those powers" ha was gona say "comes great responsability", if he actually said that, it would actually have been funny XD
@MadCowAgent Those aren't really MMO's though. Those are chatrooms with instance worlds. You create a party and THEN step into the world. You don't need anywhere near as much maintenance in a game like that as you do a game where there are thousands of players online everywhere in your world at a time.
@7PaulGrey Those are movement abilities which are different from actual powers. You can either fly, Have super speed, or have acrobatics. Powers are like Fire and Ice.
@MrKockNoker thing about batman that makes him so amazing is that he just a normal human being. he does not posses powers extraordinaire yet he is still able to hold his own against foes who have otherworldly powers
Yeah, only the skin type though, like they can be animal-humans (which look ridiculous btw) or have skin like lava or even be a robot, you can change the colour if you don't like the skins aswell
It's F2P, you pay $15 a month to have Legendary access though, which gives many more features. I believe you only need to pay $5 once for Premium which is in the middle.
@acexhearts No it's not made by Microsoft. It's published by Sony Online Entertainment, developed by Sony Online Austin, and engined by Unreal Engine 3. It's all made by Sony. It's only coming out for PlayStation 3 and PC.
wow... this almost make the animation and graphics in World of warcraft look good... Now i understand why they wrote "This is not a gameplay trailer" in the original Cinematic trailer for the game.
This game will be cool i love MMORPG games so much. Plus you can play cross ps3 to pc so it crazy. Of course most mmo cost money so the ps3 players will have to rake up some cash every month
@IrthosThuril Yeah your right on that, I just say I hpe the game is a hit, cause i can afford to pay for this mmo, though it still sucks in the future it can still be playable. Never played MMO's so whats your opinion, is it worth it? looking foward to buying it, it looks great.
@HappyTrigger180 Yea most likely you'll have to pay to play as well. If you remember Final Fantasy 11 or even Phantasy Star Online, players had to pay a subscription fee. It's really not so bad man. If you're doing something you enjoy then 15 bucks isn't really alot of money. Going to the movies costs 11 bucks, and that's only for 2 hours. Playing the game for a month only costs you 15 bucks. It's a small sacrifice for something you enjoy.

@Playmaker97 lol you probably can if they provide really good customization. pretty sure they will since that's a very important part when it comes to making your superhero unique.
@jkilledthattwiceman the mmo aspect of it is probably to much content to be contained on one xbox disc. ps3 uses blu-ray so it can hold more, that and the developers probably found the ps3 to be easier to work with for the game
@kokoroyer somethin bout luthor is the last superhero/villian left and he goes back in time to save the earth from brainiac. he goes and juices up civilians with powers (the players) and tries to stop brianiac in the future
@Newspock59 Only because DC worked for 6 years to keep City of Heroes from it's true potential with lawsuits and injunctions. Also CoH was built for technology 8 years ago, and its parent company Cryptic Studios dont have the kind of money to drown programmers in like Sony does.
Fire and ice is tank and both really good, Ice is defense and fire is health. Gadget and Mental is controller but in my opinion Mental is much better than gadget. Sorcery and nature are healers, sorcery heals for big amounts and nature is more of a dot healing. and u can go dps on all of the powers. Weapon don't really matter because u can change that very easy. and for movement flight and speedster are both awesome, and acrobatics sucks. hope this helps.
I wasn’t born in krypton and I never seen Arkham asylum because now I got my own powers because with those powers and side by side heroes or villains and because right now I will become the next legend
who would want to be Villain guy right ? One does not simply kill Batman or Superman and feel nothing...if you kill some bad guy however you fell great :D
the only thing i don't get is whats with the setting? let me explain... you have the worlds greatest heroes go against their arch-enemies in the middle of a street? I that the location should be more...epic. like over a volcano or something wait,never mind...they'll probably have that too
Even though I like the idea of this game something is bugging. If you are creating unique characters and using them online what is stopping DC from taking your person and using it as their own?
lol so how will the story end? Unlike WoW that has a story, this one seems like battle after battle like some sort of training for the big face off with brainiac. At least with Warcraft you're growing with the timeline of the story and novels. This would have been better off line or at least have a story mode that goes from start to finish as either hero or villain.
@Mamoruanime Your honestly going to tell me you think The Hulk or Ironman is better then Superman or The Flash? Granted they may look cooler or their storyline is better but The Hulk could easily be bested by superman and Ironman is just a man in a suit made of a metal that he himself made, have you seen the video of Flash tearing apart Braniac? He breaks the speed force and literally runs around the world in seconds and destroys him. This is why they are "The universes greatest heroes."
