Great stuff! I'm an Ex-Melburnian living in the US and have a massive collection of 1980s V/Line HO Scale equipment here. Dad works on the Puffing Billy. Will have to try and visit this place when back home again.

It's stunning the amount of high quality Australian models that is available now. I remember the old 1983 Lima catalogue where a few very crude models of some locomotives and wagons, some not even based on real Australian prototypes but rather on European ones. But now it's very comparable with what we have on offer here in Europe, I have a Belgian themed layout and almost all of the diesel and electric classes have been covered in HO.

As someone who just finished working on the Great Southern, your locos are cleaner than ours!!! Kind of sacrilege having two IP locos pulling a goodsie!!! You coaches are so realistic, there was one or two moments when I could almost imagine watching the real train(s) go past the viewpoint... :-) This is brilliant. You need more footage of this layout, and those amazing GSR trains!

What a great layout.. I have SCT Laverton just over the rail line from my house and can hear them shunting and making up trains in the evenings before they set off.

I've been to the Amra club rooms at Glen Iris a few times and it was amazing however I wish I could visit when they are running Australian or even Victorian trains

Nice layout, I live in Melbourne but still modelling the Yorkshire railway. I will build Flinders street station eventually, especially as I work in the building

You model railway people get every detail on trains as accurate as possible by the looks of it so well done to you all, But I notice some of the smaller things don’t represent a normal everyday theme you would expect such as the “Split window” Volkswagen Beetle illegally parked at the flashing lights, now keep in mind these split window Vee Dubs were manufactured between 1939 and ended in 1952 which would make them anywhere between 83 to 70 years old at least, let alone the rarity factor surely youse can update your motor vehicle fleets lol!

Will are these run as a DCC coupled - as in all powered/controlled locos in one DCC "Set" or are they run as one powered with additional dummies? thanks

Beautiful Layout but it's a bit dark, could be lit up a bit more.

At 4k a ticket, Can't believe how cashed up these people living in this layout must be. Indian Pacific seems to be running 3 or 4 trains a day..
