You really spoke a word about the residential jealousy… literally my current situation where my children and I live in a PWN. A neighbor who isn’t even a neighbor (lives behind me on a whole other street) caught me and my son in the yard one Saturday morning and asked “do you own this house?” I gave him the look my dog gives me when she’s confused about something.. ears erect, head slightly tilted, one brow raised 🥴, and major side eye 😒. He knows how to read a room so he tried to clean it up by asking abt a bush in my yard asking if he could cut it for me, but I’m also skilled at reading ppl’s intentions, so I knew good and GOTDAMN well he’d finally gathered the gull when the opportunity presented itself to try and find out the deets on the new black face in the neighborhood.
