ED: How DARE you put this much effort and love into your products! It’s truly unmatched by anyone. As someone who regularly works with some of these aircraft in the real world, thank you for putting in the effort you do. It’s truly a love letter to military aviation. In all honesty my eyes began to water with the emotion I felt with the amount of love poured into DCS. Thank you.

@@charlie7mason fs is the original flightsim, (first version i played was flightsim 4.0) but it doesnt change the fact that its aimed towards casuals and more of a bing maps simulator than a flightsim in my eyes. i get bored with it real fast. talking about msfs on the release video of 2.9 is as disrespectful as bragging about a mcdonalds burger you had on a kobe steak cooking video
At 4:27, did you seriously animate a mechanical Poljot, down to the chrono hand and with a fully lumed dial, on a KA-52 pilot's wrist? That's just insane. Well done, ED. This looks amazing!
The only thing missing is terrain deformation, more realistic particles, therefore much more dense and abundant, to touch reality. excellent job guys, keep it up!
Lots of great changes. Its obvious that youve been listening to your player base. I'm especially happy about the easier payload saving and in game radio.

DCS in 10 years OMG 15years of DCS already is crazy, like last year I bought modules for like 300$, tbh I just want to buy more for 200$ just to support the game, I dont have a VR headset yet, so its not good playing without yet, but I really want this game to have a bright future u guys are awesome!
It will be interesting to see how the DLSS looks in VR. In any case, what a time to be alive when we can get this close to the experience of flying combat aircraft! Thanks for all your hard work.
Can't wait to see how it performs. In No Man's Sky going from no AA whatsoever to DLSS Quality Mode makes a difference of 25 to 90fps flat on my 3070 without any too noticable visual impact. It's literally Black Magic. I should probably expect less here, just not to expect too much, but that's a perfect example of how much of a difference it _can_ make.
@@CakePrincessCelestia Let me know if it works for you. For me the options are grayed out. I have a rtx 4090 and I use DLAA on MSFS regularly and it's amazing
@@CakePrincessCelestia I look forward trying it. Problem: On my 4090 the limit mostly wasnt graphics anymore, but CPU on Multiplayer Servers. I love they added TAA because it usually has the best graphic quality.
I've stopped playing until VR is better, hopefully this brings the fps up, a 3090 and reverb should be enough, I'm not blowing 6k to play a game, better use of money is to buy an actual aircraft.

Looks great. I've never played it but I want to. Looks good enough for the military to use it as a legit training tool. Waaaay better than the crappy sims we used when I was in. Bravo👏

Wow, what a huge array of QoL improvement and additional options for users. While things like the rotor downwash visuals is super cool and much appreciate, I am most excited to see base game fundamental changes like the spotting dots on high resolution and the built in voice chat. You folks at ED have obviously been very busy with all the performance updates as well as the updated graphical options and new models! Haven't seen that amount of NEWs in the changelog in quite some time, definitely worth of a major version number! Thank you all for your hard work, even if a lot of it is behind the scenes and only brought to light in more major updates
I am particularly thankful for the new voice chat/radio functions, the new optimization, and the loadout saver. Thank you guys very much for the updates.

Thank you guys for your dedication to military aviation, at the moment you have virtually no real competition for what you do, because what you do is an old dream for a lot of us aviation enthusiast, although you are no there yet, nobody can't say you are not trying! Can't wait for the day when we will have a world map and official Rafale, Su 30 full fidelity modules :) and a low fidelity F22. Matt, if you can see this message, you know that many of us would pay a lot even for a low fidelity official Raptor! Make it happen!
As someone who has many replays that uh...often end with aircraft going into the ground faster and earlier than expected, live track replays will be very much appreciated!
Simply astounded right now; this is incredible. Thank yall so much; I can't wait to mess around with the new camera view, track improvements, and of course DLSS. I would be a petty asshole right now and mention the folks who implied you guys didn't give a shit about improving the track system and were never going to touch it but instead I'll express my gratitude to the hard working folks over at Eagle Dynamics.
