Welcome back to another DCS flight! Today I'm taking the P-51D on an anti artillery strike in Normandy. The bomb drop was actually really good on this one! We did some strafing and even some dogfighting as well! We got a confirmed kill and damage to another BF-109, but I started having engine issues. I've mentioned it in some DCS communities and it seems to most likely be the oil temp. I will be trying to correct this in future flights. But I recovered enough to bug out, and the damaged BF-109 did not give chase. Again, this was a practice flight to refine my bomb dropping skills and try to learn good engine management skills. Also my first dogfight! That brings our confirmed kill total to 2!
