Digital Combat Simulator World (DCS World) is a free-to-play digital battlefield game.
Our dream is to offer the most authentic and realistic simulation of military aircraft, tanks, ground vehicles and ships possible. This free download includes a vast mission area of the Caucasus region and Black Sea that encompasses much of Georgia. It also includes a flyable Russian Sukhoi Su-25T ground attack aircraft and the famous WWII North American TF-51D fighter. An additional more than two dozen aircraft are available for purchase.

You really shouldn't be banking more than 50 degrees in the Cat if you've got phoenixes in the air and target locks. There is a bug with the radar currently that will break your lock if you do that. Also going STT from TWS while still supporting your Phoenixes will, you guessed it, make those missiles go stupid. This second part is not a bug though. :)

Just a little tip here if you want to get the most out of your mach 5 death sticks a good launch range is +40k alt mach 1.2 at least which will give you upwards of 60 nm of distance (preferably done with a human rio) use STT and it's impossible for aircraft to react in time if they don't start heading the other way immediately works especially well on AI.

He works ok, but the use of a human in the back is much better. Jester still doesn't do/handle certain things too well and loses lock because of it He's enough to get by on though

@@Hellreign82 He isn't so bad you end up getting frustrated? He is kind of my doubt point between the F-14 and F-16 atm. But since i have the Av8 i don't really need a multirole. But wouldn't like getting frusrated at an AI :P On the other hand he would take care off the job i find boring as hell, trawling for targets on the radar :P

I think jester couldn't switch to STT because the WCS of the cat was guiding the Phoenixes and doesn't allow you to switch to STT when you have a tws guided missile in the air. Might be completely wrong though

hey there friend! do you still use the CH products throttle? would you recommend it over, lets say the thrustmaster twcs?

I do still have the CH kit yes. Probably 6 or so years old now. Personally I think it's great kit. Not too expensive, durable. The only down side are the old mechanical pots that 'jitter' Doesn't affect gameplay as suck other than visually Can't comment on the TM kit as never user it
