Quick video about a new feature in DCS 2.9.5. The JF-17 now has FP-A and FP-B. Cycle them using the UFC and in the mission editor flight plan B starts where you add FPB to the waypoint name.
@@deephack Yes, in the F10 map, we used to be able to make waypoints labeled WPT1 and so on to make flight plans in multiplayer. Doing so before loading the DTC, or before updating it, would convert the labeled F10 markers into actual waypoints within the Jeff's system. This made things so quick and easy as you didn't have to manually type in waypoints via longitude and latitude. But now the F10 markers don't work, so either the label formula has changed or this new update has removed that ability altogether.
Because of the addition of PL-B, they have not yet figured out how to define a new marking format, so the function of marking waypoints in this version has been temporarily turned off.
Unlikely to see that anytime soon as they only just started taking delivery at the end of last year and we don't even have good sources for which upgrades are actually installed in them yet.
This video covers a NEW UPDATE on the JF-17. It's not outdated, it's being continuously updated just like the Apache. Unless you mean outdated in terms of being an old Jet? It's one of the most modern aircraft we have.
