Here's a quick tutorial about flying the de Havilland Mosquito at night in DCS World. Some tips about night flying in general, and some WW2 procedures that you will need to follow in 'V for Victory', my upcoming Mosquito campaign.
Absolutely amazing the level of realism you put on your campaign. All those procedure, even if they can seems fun killing at first, really puts you in the boots of those brave young men. Thanks for all your work.
HOLY F!! That is AMAZING! This campaing just brought me to buy the mosquito! Soo cool! And what an amount of hoops they had to jump throgh after being in the total dark for hours and getting fired up on and even might be damaged and wounded. And today they are complaning about there is no vegan alternativ on the diner around the corner... those people really been made out of other stuff
Morse code!? What are you doing to me, you know I can't multitask! lol. That's very neat, thank you. I didn't know how that all functioned. What a cool plane to have in DCS bringing all these unique things haven't seen before. Are you aiming for a november release you think mate?
All these details will make the experience immersive :) Ah no way, I'm still waiting for DCS features to be implemented, such as delayed fuzes, Magnetic variation over the Channel map, an official skin template, etc...Until we have these the project is kinda stuck. I'm just testing and polishing the missions while waiting for these.
@@ReflectedSimulations you know I love it haha, make me work up there! Thanks, I didn't know of those things, was trying to work out mag var & navigation so good to know. Appreciate all your hard work, take all the time need :) Would your Huey campaign be in same boat with Marianas map & waiting on few things to iron out?
Thanks. Lots of research, googling, and many books written by RAF night fighters/ bombers. Occasionally they would mention what they did with the lamps and eventually you get enough pieces of the jigsaw to figure it out. It may still not be 100% correct, but this is my most educated guess.
@@ReflectedSimulations hi, found the issue, it is not working in the multi thread dcs version. I meant the light in the cockpit which you can turn on even without the batterie on.
Have you been in touch with DCS developers? I’d love the identification system be part of the core game so you could have the tower respond instead of your flare work around!
