Summary of recent DCS News with coverage of the ED monthly newsletter, the release of the Kiowa Warrior and the ongoing concerns around Razbam. dotChuckles / dotchuckles VAF Discord / discord
Instead of pulling down all the F-15E videos, why not edit them with a disclaimer up-front, then reupload? That way, instead of all content disappearing and no one hearing about the dispute, they are proactively warned, AND those who are still playing the F-15E still have tutorial material to help them learn the module if they want
I think the problem with the sound of the .50 cal isn't necessarily the sound itself, but that it appears noticeably chopped off after the last round of a burst got fired. It needs to have some kind of reverberation or fading out sound.
Asked for a refund on the Strike Eagle. Going to hold on to the Harrier and the SE map as I've had it too long to justify asking for my money back. But if they're going to atrophy on my HD, I don't need them wasting space. I can always get them again if this gets resolved, but at this rate I'm not holding my breath
I think it’s great all you RU-vids are talking about it. The worst thing I can imagine is anyone buying a module by RAZBAM without knowing about the issue. The second worst thing would be if the modules dies.
Didn't Razbam have professional customers on the Mirage2000, or is it something i dreamed up? With the possible delivery of Mirage2000 to Ukraine, that might generate some much needed cash flow and interest from a wider segment.
M-2000C came to DCS thanks to the French Airforce paying for RAZBAM to develop one for them, and thanks to that we have it in DCS, also, I guess it might generate cash flow if Ukraine's airforce indeed uses DCS or licences an M-2000C for MCS, regardless, Eagle Dynamics is withholding RAZBAM module revenues, so that cash flow won't go to RAZBAM but ED
maybe F15E playlist doesn't perform well because it's a two seater, and Razbam for long didn't want to implement AI, and since the vast majority of players are single players, there might be less interest. consider the heatblur pedigree of ai from the onset, ED with hind and Apache, polychop also has a strong ai in the Kiowa. Just speculation of course.
I find RAZBAM not wanting to add an AI erroneous, they did indeed state that they would after Early Access so they can prioritize core module development, however we need to remind ourselves that this is a new technology that RAZBAM has not developed and has 0 experience with it, this is the reason that Polychop released their OH-58 without an AI CPG, Heatblur had developed indeed an AI, that's Jester, and that has matured to what is on the F-4, RAZBAM and Polychop have not.
I like the yak-52 too, it's a good prop trainer, that doesn't try to kill you. I sometimes just do a flight from airport to airport to relax. Did a vfr flight from north to south and visited all the airports in the SA map, took a while;-)
Yes, that's a great trainer too, I've done some ifr flights with it, maybe next time I should do a nighttime map crossing in the c101. Maybe follow the coast of the Syria map, a detour to Cyprus, and maybe continue on the Sinai map. Or in the MB-339, I haven't really dived into that.
I respect your decision to take down your F-15E tutorial videos; to not just talk - but actually do so. I have noticed one content creator (Spudnocker) may say they are taking down their tutorials - but haven't actually done any such thing (its been 4 days). Cunning plan to corner the F-15E tutorial market perhaps 🙂? ru-vid.com/group/PLZ8X4p18pdbnp8aIGrrRHKT3SDlsLFnyq
SE you could add a video note there’s currently no updates and leave them posted. ED is not seeing this hurting them and it is. Ed miles don’t exist on 3rd party anymore. ED needs a new core engine unreal would help.
