If you're new to the Viggen, and need a crash course on getting started, this video will show you enough to do some damage. It doesn't cover any of the Viggen's exotic weapons (I'll cover those in a future video) but after watching this, you'll be able to take to the skies with four Mavericks, hit your targets, and land safely.
Create flightplan from F10 map: 0:50
Arm the jet and explain which Mavericks are which: 2:35
Startup: 6:05
Select data cartridge with F10 map flightplan: 7:12
Manually enter a waypoint: 9:46
Takeoff: 20:20
QFE estimation: 24:15
Ingress: 35:50
Launch Mavericks: 36:50
Landing: 43:21

I just bought the Viggen, after careful consideration, as my first aircraft. I've seen many videos as I begin to get a grasp on it, but none as good as this. I'm glad I found your guides!

Someone has probably already point this out but: The RB24 is your very basic Aim-9B, the RB24J is the Aim-9P3 or the Export Aim-9J, they are both Rear Aspect only and are not all aspect. Now the RB74 which the AJS also carries is All Aspect and is the Aim-9L. Otherwise amazing video and tutorial man! Never seen anything to this quality and detail regarding the Viggen

By far the best Viggen tutorial I've seen ! Thanks for all the great information. Already got some good basics with this beautiful plane but I did learn a lot of new things and it's only the first video from your guide - good job !

B1 = Brytpunkt 1 (breakpoint 1), where you break your course to the new one. M4 = Mål 4, simply the Swedish word for Target 4. Tad confusing in Google translate, as "mål" also has the meanings of "goal" and "meal", and in archaic form also speech (mål i mun, lit. speech in the mouth)/ language (främmande tungomål, foreign languages spoken).
