Should have seen it coming - Eagle Dynamics known for stuffing Easter Eggs into DCS world, and Halloween 2022 is no exception. Unfortunately for me, I found out at 2am with my BIG headphones on. To say I freaked out was an understatement. While I don't usually go for ghosts inside the audio equipment - my heart skipped a beat, and for a moment I wasn't quite so sure!

I experienced it in the daytime after shutting down my F-16 so it wasn't as spooky, but it still ramped up my anxiety for a few seconds lol

lol same here. Sat next to a wood in a Gazelle about to start a night mission. Thought I was hearing things. Even spookier on VR....had to check all the windows and doors....

Yeah, I had that too on the A-10C Sturmovik Campaign earlier today. Even had pumpkins replace all taxiway lights.

I noticed that when i was landing my F-16 under heavy rain, first i thought it was like a turboprop nearby, then i when away from my plane with the camera and i was like "What the F!"

I just created a cold start Hornet night mission on the PG map, but didn't hear anything spooky or see any skeletons on the Abraham Lincoln either. Guess I am just not lucky :(

i ejected after got hit pretty bad by aaa, started walking to my downed plane because it didnt somehow explode and then the sounds kicked in. Give a nice jumpscare.
