DCS World - How to really use the Create Fast Mission generator in DCS 

The most useful thing I've found for DCS in ages. I have been screwing around with this for ages with no success. Thanks.

Follow up: following your steps/suggestions really did help. For the first time the fast mission creator actually produced a scenario (with those tweaks) that was very enjoyable to fly. Had a little bit of breathing room to wrap my head around what was happening at the start. Thanks for the video because this has really helped.

so now i can finally stop getting blown out of the sky 14 seconds after hitting fly! i was starting to think i was just mega garbage at the game lol. thanks alot for clearing this stuff up

The mission planner option allows you to setup payload but still found this useful as a new player. Thanks

This game really needs a tutorial on how to actually navigate the game itself on top of the aircraft.

thanks allloot .. it's really useful video this way is easier than starting on an blank map on the mission editor and starting position stuff around .. specially for me as a months young on DCS where i'm working on creating more suitable training scenarios .. yesterday i set fighter jets to min and when the mission started i found my self up against 8 mig 29s 😁

Is there a way to get the deck crew on the carrier in fast mission? It's just a bit of immersion breaking.

Why can I onlu see SU-25T on the select aircraft page? Even though I have bought others too?

Hey Rod. Very cool. I didn't know this about the Fast Mission Editor. I'll be sure to test this moving forward. BTW, is it possible to turn the player plane into an AI, so all the planes in the mission are AI and will fight each other? That would be a quick way to set up fun scenarios for filming purposes.

I think once you get the hang of fast mission creator you'll see that it is quite useful for training.

theres nothing wrong with the F-14 taking off, you need to salute with Lshift+U for ground crew to launch you because you take off at mil power and throttle up after leaving the deck

Thank you so much for this. I am mixed between *Create Fast* and full blow creating every detail and script in *Mission Editor* is there a way to set all fighters with IR missiles quickly (not selecting each unit)

The ME is as old as F***, I believe the guys are spending a lot of time working on that old spaghetti code to get it up to snuff, but it's one of those things that always breaks and they spend enormous amounts of time tweaking the code to get it to work right. Hopefully with fingers crossed, they will get that dynamic Mission editor working that conceivable will take care of a lot of problems

every time i try to spawn in for a cold start there is no ground crew response??

You don’t understand. There is a bug that allows you to take off, and launches you, but you end up in the water because the cat doesn’t work right. There’s a legit bug with one of the carriers in user created missions

Thats weird, Never had the no weapons problem even if I don’t even go into advanced settings

Thnx for the vid. Always found the quick mission to be useless. Btw, have you tried the matric app already? Turns your android tablet into a touchscreen. Looks a bit like Roccat powergrid, but it's far better. The author is a dcs fan, so it already has a lot of 'decks' to use. 6 euro once for unlimited usability.
