Hello guys! It's five years since I uploaded the original Black Castle base tour, and now I have updated it in the new Manor Lair theme!
This castle is much more grand thanks to the design of the lair itself. The castle does for sure have some familiar elements relating to its original version, but with much more magical portals nearby. As you walk up the stairs you are greeted by a wall demon, who watches over the entrance. Going to the left corridor takes you to the Grand Plaza of Fallen Angels, showcasing Alienna's divine side. Continue further into the castle and encounter a renactment of the war between witches and demons deep into the caves below the castle. Then, explore the Dark Chambers of the Malevolent, where Alienna prepares her powerful dark magic.
Overall I had a lot of fun decorating this new Manor Lair theme. The 700 base item limit (increased in a recent game update) really helped me with attention to detail. I utilised some of the ideas I was starting to work on when Black Castle was still in the Gothic Lair, and that you might have seen in TOTB episodes earlier in the year.

P.S. I did submit this in ObsidianChill's Manor Lair contest, but didn't make the top 5. There were some very impressive bases in that competition. It's good to see the base decorating community of DCUO out there enjoying the game. In case anyone asks.
