Been rather bored with DPSing lately. Would a rage pet build work? Source, Mercy, Quiz with EOG swap to get the most out of Berserk for the x2 pet effect?
Unfortunately i upgraded Eye of gemini for celestial dps 4 month ago, and i dont want to sacrifice it. I got Eye of Gemini 160, Transformation 120, Strategist 120. You think i should swap Trans or Strat for Scrap ?? Since i got EoG
Yes sacrifice your grim because it’s a waste of a artifact slot the tier 3 pet trinkets can replace grim like mother box you don’t need that pet anymore! Edit: Do not use grim if your loadout already applies the P.I. I just realized my power actually applies it transformation card is top tier then and robot sidekick is a waste it reduces your power regen which isn’t good I found a build for my celes that combos well without have to use sidekick and does more damage without it
@@zer0strike176 Grim still good is got 5% might and precision also..is not a bad art either plus it aplies the Pi which might come in handy depending or ur rotation.
@@armandoayala446 I'm quantum dps I don't have room in my LO for a P.I. so I was using Grim for that so is the extra damage from the P.I. not worth it?
@@zer0strike176 it is Grim is made specially for a Rotation like urs, if ur not applying Pi from one of ur powers. (Remenber Pi gives extra 10% damage to ur power interaction with Pi) And like i said that 5% Might and precision comes in real handy.
def, there is absolutely no use of grim in elec might dps as you constantly spam arc to apply PI, and you are missing the additional dps from a 160-200 quislet
Never turn in Grim cause it opens up more variety for dps loadouts if you ever get bored with the one you’re using. And Grim is good for making Electrostatic Bomb hit harder.
My Clarion now 200 and Supes maxed 4 shields with my fire tank ungodly heals! I now feel untouchable especially in any Alerts! I honestly want to run a raid with 8 DPS all in tank role just to see how it goes with shields and self heals maybe 7 and troll for power! But so many combos now with arts and Allys! ✌️🥳
@@trey2297 just in my regular fire rotation it’s immolation and hard light! But a maxed Supes ally gives a damage mitigation group shield for up to 8 players and a 200 Clarion art gives a 4 man shield with weapon heals for 4 lowest grp members! I’m literally shielded at all times and I’m Prec so I do insane damage even in tank role now! Just because Supes shield for the group I almost always just DPS in tank role now!
I have a flying, Electricity powered DPS character with both Transformation and Strategist cards and an on the verge of upgrading Eye Of Gemini, my questions are these, Should I continue upgrading Eye of Gemini?, what are the most OP load out for dps electricity? And also all of my adaptive augments are Might, Should I switch them all to Precision for better dps damage output? Thanks in advance!
Advice from an old Earth (think Obsidian will agree): Change Grim for Quislet (200 if possible), as Earth is about spamming SC Entomb! And Quislet(200) will give u SC charge bonus and also (160) SC dmg bonus on each SC Entomb's 5k. ;). Mercy also gives u SC charge bonus and does the Grim's job to PI (Power Interact) your enemies by Crystal, so u don't need Grim for PI as well.. when you have a combination of Mercy and Quislet ;) EDIT: Was running 120 Quislet + 120 Mercy (and experimenting with 3rd art, like swapping Shard / Trans or Scrap) up until this x2 Nth XP event - was fine ;) But ofc will do Quis 200 now, for Mercy not sure if I go 200 for now ;) Cheers from D3ni3r.
@@mariadcuo929, just did 160 Shard (to get the 25% chance for cooldown reset on using power) with 200 Quislet and ... went for the 200 Mercy (did 410k crit ST just spawning a Pet....). Love IT! :)
You dont have to listen to everything other people tell you, artifacts are there for you to choose, I level’d a Tetrahedron artifact for my might dps and it gives me and my team like 8-9k might in combat atm I honestly love that artifact because of the crazy high crits and he didn’t mention that artifact either.

Instead of Quizlet I still use grim because he works great with quantum power as well as you know crits and stuff so I still do good with quantum and grim together 👍
What you running for quantum? I think I made a mistake of leveling certain arts first :( I'm running grim solar strat, but I believe I SHOULD be running grim trans strat or grim trans solar?? Kinda worried ab leveling arts further if it's a waste.
I also leveled up transformation card and strategist card too 180 on double XP week now when it comes again making them to 200 lvl put them with grim and that will be my melee DPS
Hey Obsidian so I had a spare CR310 Skip left and used it on my pure Healer Toon, i don't want to spend that much money on her (Since i already charged for Feats Skips to get her at 450 sp) what I wanted to ask is, is it viable just to get her artifacts to 160? I'm using the Meta set-up (EoG, PoD, PHR)
It can work for power trolling if you are stuck for an artifact but I wouldn't consider it a "troll" art but if you need to save on xp/cats it can be usable
So I run strat, trans and solar for ST and I use neo venom mostly on st so should I replace one of them with quislet so I get the damage from using the super charge
Hi Obsidian, lately I’ve been thinking on sacrificing my dps artifacts to build the tank ones. I just ended leveling them to level 200 and I got enough source marks and catalists to level them up to max level. Would you consider this a waste of what I have? I want to focus on something different than DPSing since I’m getting pretty bored and I love tanking but I never manage to do it to the biggest level since I don’t have artifacts.
What dps artifacts did you already have? some like EoG and Scrap can also be used for tanking. The only 100% art needed is manacles where say mystic can be kept at 160 if needed and then use EoG etc.
@@ObsidianChill Strategist, Transformation and Solar Amplifier. I was thinking going for manacles, symbol. Thing is I wanted to ask you what would you consider the best tanking power, I’ve only tried Brick tanking and was able to tank elite alert without artifacts. But I also like ice powers. And I saw your videos where you recommend Everyman prototype for Brick and Circes Mask for Ice. So since I don’t know which power is better I don’t know what third artifact to level up. Nor do i know if I should or if I’m making a mistake. I’m just tired of fighting for being the one with the bigger dps numbers 😅
@@sergialesh All you need as a tank is mystic, manacles, and Everyman. EOG and Scrap are optional but that’s all you need. Circes mask is pointless and all the tank powers are good it just depends in what you like to do. I’d suggest rage or fire tanking though
depends if you can setup burning cause chaingun needs burning for the double dmg, if you run flack on aoe and HV on single then yes grim isn't doing anything for you quislet would be better
You have Trans-Strat as a Precision DPS combo, but as a (non-pet focused) Sorcery Might DPS, I still have people in-league telling me it's what I should be using. I'm unsure what to do. Thanks.

I have a question for you obsidian about the m.e.r.c.y artifact. i see you still have finished testin it. but i do wonder if it would boost the supercharge grand summoning pets for sorcery. i have mine at 167 and gonna boost it to 200 now that we have this bonus.. running sorceshard.. quizlet and m.e.r.c.y.. let me know what u think..
mercy wouldn't have any impact on grand summoning, it only works on your personal Fury. Source shard could buff the grand summoning but at the same time grand summoning lasts for like 30+ seconds so there will be numerous points it is getting no buffed dmg and if you have quislet and a trinket pet out at the time time as GS there is a change that source shard doesn't even buff GS at all because that is multiple pets itself
water might ur gonna want solar grim and trans. sorcery mercy,shard, and quizlet. but if you don’t wanna pet dps for sorcery, solar trans and strat are fine.
Try gem of horus for prec it takes skill to use it why not many use it or sleeping on it but you'll even take aggro from tank so be aware of that (for single target). If u start getting good at it u can hit 1.4 mill 10 second parser its what I do took screen shots at least in spar target and in contention ur usually buffed up and can use ur sc etc (didnt use any buffs or pet to hit 1.4 mill so I'm sure u cant hit more if you go all out) works best with gadget I think it's what I use perhaps mental

If you are just using bolt barrage I wouldn't unless you have alot of extra nth metal and catalysts. Piper doesn't work with neo or Mass Hysteria and with bolt being a 10000SC you aren't using it that often
personally I wouldn't waste the xp because lazarus pit won't be needed at all during content so you would have an artifact you could make use of only once a year or once every 2 years
I've continually had excellent results with La-Mort Card + The Batman Who Laughs as a Fire DPS. At first I thought after the target gets below 35% it's not worth keeping La-Mort in, except it actually should stay right where it is. Using all the below maxed out... Snuff Out (SO): (LA) reduces cool down by 25%. 10% damage buff for (SO) while target is above 35% health. The Batman Who Laughs - Toxic Encore Passive : When enemy is below 45% health (SO) activates 7% defense debut AOE for 10 seconds. And as stated above, (LA) will still reduce cool down. So you have multiple more chances to release the AOE on the same target. Great for adds and bosses. And remember, Toxic Encore stacks with regular Controller debuffs! La-Morte (LA): At 35% health Impending Doom is activated. Snuff Out (SO): At 35% health (SO) starts doing double damage. If you want you can activate Snuff Out and immediately jump cancel. Impending Doom stack will still count as well as activating TBWL Toxic Encore.
Hey Obsidian can you make a vid showing what's the best way to split Nth metal for artifact xp,how is it that you do it? A faster method,a better method,more xp?🤔 Would highly appreciate it ,ty!
If you have the time on your hands you can split every stack and do 1 at a time to increase your changes of getting a critical on the xp but that is alot, alot of time to invest
Aftershocks has more reliability and flexibility. Brick is just one more thing to watch in case its about to die from aoe mechanics or from damage then I need to have a shield off cooldown to clip it so that I don't take increased damage at that time. Brick also takes up 2 slots with brick and fortify golem where aftershocks you just need jackhammer so you can either a breakout for the superman ally or a SC etc.
You can use 3 SC spam without it. You'll be getting your SC back from EOG as well as using your moves. Running scrap you'll lose healing out since you don't have an actual healing art.
@@Shadow497 no…. 3 sc without scrap is dumb you do not get enough sc back to keep consistent greens out.. also healing out is literally no problem a good healer has atleast 100k resto with eog scrap and ray. also art swapping scrap and page exits aswell
@@Shadow497 no you don’t. You can’t even running 2 scs successfully without scrap. I’ve tried it, it works for a while if you start the run with max sc, it won’t last long if you spamming 2 scs let alone 3
@@isthisnametaken9965 okay. Maybe you can't run 2 or 3 SC without it but I know I can and I have. Just a different play style. I even run multiple SC on my tank and Spam.
Is power trolling a waste at this point? Is it worth it just to keep them for running reg raids with ppl who cannot maintain their rotations or am I safe to just full dump them into my buff troll setup?
power trolling isn't required at all now, if anything you can always swap out claw after you buff and have 12s to do instant regen before you have to swap claw back on to reapply the buff.
@@ObsidianChill i have Rao, Tetra and Claw all 200, but I have scrap & parasite both at 160, is it worth dumping those 2 into a cog to make 200 now and just always running Rao Tetra Cog Swap in rao for the buff then put back in cog? And if i run into the group losing power just put all vit augs in?
@@user-fp7to2hp3x do you art swap at all? unless you art swap you don't need tetra and cog both at 200, just primarily what type of dps you run with. Keep scrap but parasite really isn't needed unless you are swapping multiple artifacts at once.
@@ObsidianChill yeah I art swap, I usually always have rao on top slot, tetra in second then third i switch between rao/parasite/cog, but parasite and cog are only 160 Keep em both 160 or parasite into cog for a 200 cog u think? Or put parasite into bop comlink? So many arts for trolling 😅
the damage from quislet over time will exceed the damage that light gets from the daze PI. Also daze is a popular PI which other roles like gadget players can setup for you
Depends largely on the type of content you run and whom with. If you get gem spam from healers Quislet will do more dmg than strat with the constant procs on the sc and EoG dmg but for elec single target I don’t use Quislet. If you are in normal non end game groups then strat will be better as you’ll have less circuit breaker procs
@@ObsidianChill my character is only a few weeks old. Right now I'm running strat, trans, and scrap. Doing really well with those but was wondering if quislet would be an extra boost. Probably just have to try them out
I say Mystic/Manacle and EOG and you can pair EOG with Scrap for more spamming the greens. I've done it on my Earth Tank and regenerate my health like Fire Tank or Atomic.
@@mcastro7298 page and phr work just fine at 160. You'd heal the extra 2 players with page at 200. Eog is what you should have at 200 out of those 3, if you can
