The proper way to DPS in Dcuo is to check the leaderboard after every group of ads and make sure you are in the lead. If you are not in the lead, you have to activate superchargers on large groups of AOE to ensure you are first. If you are in first you call everyone else a scrub. youre welcome.

@@Wolf.Vision For full Pet Build, you can go with what Michael has suggested. What I suggested is not complete pet build but using Sorcery powers and pet on the side. Levelling up Trans and Strat gives you freedom to switch powers without having to level up extra artifacts. =)
Bro I have a cruel doubt about the combat system of this game until today I can't understand come on I'm cr 356 my power and witchcraft / dps because when I go into an alert the guys with cr a little higher than my example 360- 365 can do 15 to 20 million damage, and I can only do 9 to 10 million damage? there's something besides the armor that makes the char stronger and I don't know please if you can make the video explaining it besides me I think a lot of people wanted to open it too and because videos like this are few br who do I'm very grateful. .On a note to free to play at the moment your legendary subscription for 1 month has some advantage over it..
Besides gear, you need to level up certain Artifacts. Level up Augments. Use Gear mods. Get skill points to get all the Damage based innates. Basically, everything I mentioned in the video. To answer question #2, as i am one of those who typically doesnt follow the meta, i like the game and been playing on and off for 11 yrs. I m interested in knowing what the latest trends are, the meta, etc… 4 reasons i can think of now, increase my knowledge of the game and its community, i may use the meta at some point on one of my 15 toons, i could advise others in game in case anyone asks me, and though i ve known the meta for a while now, i still watch most of ur videos like obschill bc u guys create quality content (keeping in touch with u in a way) 👊

To me dpsing isnt hard and isnt that easy depends on your powerset and loadout same thing with healing and controlling also it depends on the content too
Great vid but a question. What if you max sp on either prec or might and DON'T want to put extra sp into the other because I simply don't use it. Where can I put my sp as dps?
To maximise, your damage, you must put it in Dps stats. If you are might, put the extra SP in Prec so you can clip you weapon attacks inbetween powers. If you are prec, put rest of SP in might so when you clip powers with weapon buff, you get some extra damage. But if you don't wanna do any of that. Maybe putting SP in health is an option, but I wouldn't do that. 😁

Only thing I hate about DPS is I love flying so I hate super speed and whatever the other is. So what ends up happening is I get out dps-ed, not by a lot but enough to be annoying!
I play this game since 2011 and I gonna teach you how you will be number 1 DPS. (BTW for all "DPS" player in DCUO...the role is called DD and not dps! DPS means: damage per second and DD means Damage Dealer!) Like this didn't change in over 10 years, shows me that the average IQ of the community in this game didn't change either...😢 So here we go.. 1. always be the first in line 2. Do dmg as soon as you can and as often as you can ignoring all game mechanics. Make always sure you are on top of the leaderboard 3. check the leaderboard as often as you can 4. blame everybody who is lower in dps then you 5. If people are lower in gear then you but do more damage, report them as hacker to get them out of the game 6. If you die because you hit the mobs first, blame the Tank for not pulling aggro and the healer to be shitty healers...BUT always remember to be first in line! 7. Always kick the lowest dps (DD) as soon as possible. He must be noob or not knowing how to play dps (DD) 8. Always blame other people for not getting you up first of all 9. You never get up people! didn't you understand...you are the most important person in this group you have no time to help others, you have to be first in leaderboard god damn it! 10. Don't forget to blame the others at the end of the raid and tell them how insane your damage is!

I am generally a top DPS and I don't swap arts nor will ever that's for tryhards and generally, they suck without using cheese stuff like that. and are hamstrung when these exploits are taken away
1. Art swapping isnt really try hard at all. Its easy for some rotations and role. People are entitled to run whatever they want and thats ok. This game is a weekly grind and rotations and art set ups get stale over time. People like to try something new or add an art to their dps meta already. Nothing wrong maximizing damage. Why would you DPS and not try to? If you want to be a casual player by all means, you can be that. The point of DPS is to be efficient as possible. In PUG runs sure, you dont have to go all in, even when carrying damage. But if youre running TSWE why be a 4th DPS? 3 other DPS would smoke you by 50 million because you want to be loyal to no art swap. 2. Generally top DPS dont on yt comments telling people theyre a top dps. Being top dps easy in pug runs amongst no one with burn.
@@Coqui-Cariduro lol wow the sideways cuts. justify how you wish it's something that the devs will address at some point and that crutch will be removed from the game. its happened over and over since launch. and players have adapted and moved on. 90% of the people who claim they are DPS in this game are garbage so why art swap its not needed not intended and makes you a weaker player relying on those pay-to-win devices. Just get your 3 lvled and roll with good rotations and knowledge of an instance and top the charts because your good not because of some art. a good player can top the charts with none of it not saying you shouldn't use arts but they are not required just a means to give varied playstyles to a build. and make weaker powers have a chance to be viable.
Was thinking of coming back to this game then seen that I need like maxed artifacts/allies to do best DPS and then seen what I would have to pay or do to level them and changed my mind lmao I’m good.
Definitely a wise decision, mate. I haven't played the game properly in almost a year. Logged in couple of times to see whats up, and it's just not worth it anymore. Recently, a lot of devs also left the DCUO team so there's that. Honestly, you have wayyy better games to play than DCUO, and that too without spending big bucks.

Hi I would like to ask how did you get your power up skill when just using a single skill and without using any super power buff I saw many people with dps use a skill and got the power up buff. Sorry I am just got back to the game and was wondering :)
Hi! Do you mean how I get my power back after using any super power? If that's what you meant, under stat points, I am specced as Superpowered. That regenerates my power bar automatically.
@@iEddyGaming it the buff that look like an explosion 💥 icon under your health and mana at when you use a skill it show that you have a buff without using a super charge I was wondering how people got it in dps role.
@@Hero22380 That's a damage buff because of either your gear, your mods or the instance/environment. When you use any power and you get a damage bonus because of your mod or gear, you will see that explosion sign under your name. The Crosshair sign is Attack buff, that pops when you use weapon buffs or drink stat buffing soders etc.
Depends on how much you play. Dr. Fate's reward gives you a bit of XP and then you can get rest from Dr Fate vendor using Fate's tokens. Then you can buy some from broker and you can also buy Nth Metal Detectors from broker or Vendor to double your drops. So quite a lot of ways to get an artifact to 200 within a month or two. 😊
Now that's more like it. Destiny tokens are only for members. So to get them u pay. No matter how active u are (I'm extremely active) you won't get enough exp in 1-2 months. If u f2p it's already 4-6 months. Atleast
True if ur f2p, 4-6 months sounds right. And if ur a member, 1-2 months also sounds right. If ur very active, and if it can fit into ur budget, membership is absolutely worth it, even if it s just for 3-6 months
Henchman, Supply Drop and Orbital, you can get from your base. Unlock them in your generator with source marks. Drones/Turrets drops from different content. You can also buy them from Broker. Stat trinket can be bought from the gear vendor depending on your CR/DLC.
@@Obito80440 I believe henchmen does more damage than turret, since Turrets are fixed at one spot and Henchmen can move around, if the target is out of range, turret won't do any damage. Also, it depends on which henchmen you are using. Survival Mode henchmen have the most damage.
There is no artifact for that. But Ally: Superman can do that for you. Just level superman up and use his 2nd Passive Ability to prevent channelling interruption =)
Tried to watch the video and I admire the author for the tremendous work...and I realize that I just cannot follow most of the advices. I am that abomination of an MMO player who plays casually. Because it's...you know...a game.. Still, you did a great job and you are awesome overall.
It's all good. Some days I play casually too. And others, even when I'm going all out on DPS, I never follow the #10 thing I mentioned in the video lol Even for me it's too "Try hard" haha
Lmao, many of us in the same boat. I do duoe on 2-6 toons every day. Solo Q with main bc i can solo with him, and lfg with the others. The ones who screw up the most are the dps, specially when im on my healer. If and when u do it with 2 dps, do u focus 2nd and 3rd boss, or kill adds 1st?
@@raph1534 You need to focus on ads or you will get overwhelmed and eventually wipe. I ran it with 2 dps one time and I'll never do it again. Too much of a shitshow
