I had the same issue, I removed the dpf filters to checked them and they were internally bad, also it damaged the one box, so please when this issue happens make sure to remove dpf filters to check them, it will save you time and money
@@tracannon I’m also a mechanic, we had replaced injectors and installed a new set of dpf filters and dpf box. The truck is running like a champion. That’s why I suggested to always with injector issues check your dpf filters.
@@joka503dagamer5 understood, thanks for the response. This happen with my truck. New injectors where installed, but they where bad. Waiting to see the outcome.
My truck , the bolt places are lose when I am going to tied the bolt it is slipping! Is there anyway to fix it or we have to open the top and a lot of work ?
Had the same issue(dd15 , 2017, injectors over fueling) but the smoke was only cominng out thru the exhaust. Replaced all injectors at the dealer and after 6 months the same thing happened . Dealer repaire quoted $24k. Instead took it to a local mechanic and replaced all injectors for $8k The truck has so far run 50k miles without any issues. What is annoying about this was the truck had a dealers warranty when it happened but they said the warranty only works for the first occurrence and any subsequent failure is not covered. 2022. Has one injector stay open. Over temp the one box. Luck it was all covered by warranty. There replace all injectors. Fuel lines. And one box with all sensors. We got SCR codes and cracked DPF. It can damage a lot. We got luck with warranty.
