Ciao, may I know the height measurement of the wooden planks? I used the 5mm but it still seems low (it scratches the plug on the edge) and I want to get to the limit to insert the decksaver too. Out of curiosity I would like to know what you used. Grazie
Thanks man! Gotta Represent CV :) With everything I'm around 23 pounds which is very light. I'nm very happy. I even had a few Dj's do the exact same thing. Good luck with your project.
Hi. I find only aftermarket power supplies get very hot. The OEM ones don't get hot and after a 5-hour gig, I lifted the controller and noticed it was cool. The MacBook usually stops getting hot once the battery is at 100%. You can test it as well to see.
Great video! Inspired me to do a similar project. Can you share with me the exact item you got from Home Depot, the particle board it looks like? Did you have to cut it to size?
Thank you. I would suggest going into home depot and getting something similar to what I used but if possible a bit ticker. What I used was 4.5mm and I had to cut it.
This case looks great. How is your mic connectivity working with the receiver staying underneath the controller? I used to get drop outs all the time with my old shure system.
It's the hard foam that comes with the flight cases. If don't have any you can use the kneeling pad foam. Home Depot and Amazon have them. Also, watch my custom rev5 case where I did things a little differently - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Lh-DShbXwXg.htmlsi=LydktRkr5Beb9MGf

@@petereldridge7773Very nice! So far I'm very happy with my setup. The only warning is to be very careful with the leg of the case. I was being rough and damaged mine but I'm still using it without the legs :)
@@djab203 thanks for the reply. Do you think 1/8th inch is too thick? I found 1/8th inch particle board on amazon for cheap. Also do you think foam will work instead of wood? I also found 5mm foam sheets
@@Dannyfr33sh 1/8 is actually a little over 3mm so you may have to double it. I recommend wood or particle board. The foam sheets have always been crappy from my experience.
