If you have a 4 post lift and need to raise your garage door up, then a DDM high lift conversion might be your best option. I discuss in this video a few tips I learned along the way of installing mine
How thick is your concrete slab? DId you ask an engineer to check for any cavities underneath it before installing the lift? One last question: Is the lift bolted to the ground and if not, do you notice any horizontal shifting with use?
I'm not sure how thick my slab is but I'm sure it's pretty thick since it's the original garage attached to the house. I did no have an engineer come check and no I didn't bolt it down. Haven't noticed any horizontal shifting when going up or down yet
I’m doing this install myself. And I have 16ft walls and 8ft doors I plan on running them straight up the wall and then only having the last panel angle the slightest bit. You see any issue with this. Do I need different drums?
