What makes me sad is that this is the last song in the TRIP MACHINE series. This is because Naoki Maeda, also known as "NAOKI" or "AMD", left Konami in 2013. So we had no more songs from this series along with PARANOiA.
Yeah, pretty much our discussion over if MAX 300 or MaxX Unlimited is harder is the reason why "That one Level" or "That one Boss" is a YMMV on TVTropes. I tend to handle the jumpstreams just fine thanks to Drop Out
hardware incapabilities. not with the game but with the power of digital music sequencers and stuff like that. you see, when ddr 2nd mix came out, people would use synthesizers and sequencers to create music like that. Now with the advent of digital audio workshops with numerous plugins and wavetable synths, it can be turned into this. nu-jungle perhaps?
I mean all of the death runs in MAX300 vs them being more spaced out in Unlimited with more emphasis on technique, like gallop freezes minute bpm changes that can throw one off. The latter I can handle just fine while it's songs like MAX 300 that give me trouble (and I can't beat either of the PARANOiA Survivors either
I beat it on my first try after I beat MAX 300 and I still have a clear streak on it (I would lose it now though as I am out of shape). I guess I favor more technical charts than arrow spam, especially on PIU.
