That's why I love this channel so much, your interaction with the viewers. It's awesome to know you are really listening and willing to engage and interact. It makes the channel feel like a little, (or large?) family. And people's opinions and input are actually heard. (Not that Dan really acts on it)! But that is perfect. You guys listen to the viewers, then say F you and do it the DD Speedshop way anyway!!! Shouldn't be any other way!!!!

I like and watch you guys because you are real regular folks. Second thing is why viewers ask why you don’t build some other version of your stuff. Well it’s simple you build what you like and I suggest you keep doing it that way. Otherwise it becomes a job and then it’s no longer fun. Also it’s nice to be able to switch up what you’re working on as it does get boring to work on the same thing for a long time. Additionally the best part is you drive your stuff! I like to see the top builders stuff be what good are they when they get trailered everywhere. Keep it up.

I was honest with a more well known youtuber about a recent build, and all the fan boys did their best to throw me under the bus. Dan takes it all in stride, and makes the best of everything. He's down to earth and real, I love it.

Hi Queen Glitter. Have tou heard, Mortski is thinking about building a, blower engine? You should set up a drag race between the two. Each guy on his side of the fence/border with the fence dividing them.

Dan don’t sweat the comments, I drive my stuff. Faded paint chips, door dings,…..I am out striping the streets and enjoying it.

Back in the mid to late 70s my stepfather had a 65 chev four door, that on the outside looked beat (white paint, primer spots covering hack repairs), but if you looked underneath or under the hood it was mechanically sound (6cyl, 2sp auto), simple.

Couldn't agree more, the minute you put good paint on a car is the minute you stop enjoying it as intended.. garage art enthusiasts wanting a perfect classic only to drive it once a month to sit behind it at a car show? No thanks.. I daily my '63 and couldn't tell you how many times people bump their doors or slide their bags down the side of the car in parkinglots.. Once you spend the money on a good paint job, all the fun is out the window for real hotrodders.

And I say whatever tire should have to look good they just have to work

A lot of folks that build old cars or trucks, believe they have to be returned to original with as little changes as possible, I like to modify them, make them more how I would have liked them to be !

Coat tail speed shop should have tshirt and mud flap merch...

Lots of vitamin C and Zink...and maybe some grog. As to the cars, I'm with Dan, I don't want a trailer queen or a show & shine that I can't beat on and use. As long as its mechanicaly sound. You can only drive one at a time so why have more than one battery?

Hardtop flappers have 2 (two) push plates as in one in the position as yours is located as well as one by the vent window. That way both ends of the flapper fit flush with your side glass. I've had a bunch of hardtops...5-6-7... window flappers all work the same...🎉
