Jean-Marc is quite the nice guy ! Very nice 57 GMC , & the 56 two-tone 4-door was gorgeous ! I like the old Plymouth too . Very cool of him to let you get the gas pedal assembly off his parts car . I thought you were turning it the wrong way , Dan . Then Jean-Marc said it too . Doh ! Lol . All good . Sounds like he had the same problem with his aftermarket fenders . They really don't fit right , no matter what year , or make /model you are building . Yikes ! The best part of hot-rodding , is the people you meet , their cars , spare parts , & good advice . Righty- tighty , lefty-loosey there , Dan ! I'm glad he said something , before you broke it ! Great post , you two ! Cheers !

Yes, it is quite the let down when you drive your fancy hot rod with the expensive paint job, and it gets nicked or scratched. But when these vehicles were new, they of course got driven and they had to endure the mud, and the blood and the beer. Like Dan the stuff I have are drivers and they are not trailer queens, in fact they rarely even get washed, but each one has a purpose. It is definitely a "different strokes for different folks" world we have and to each his own. It's a nice interview and Danielle asks very pertinent questions, and she is a good interviewer. I figured this color scheme on the GMC was right up her alley as soon as I viewed it.🥸👍👍👍👍👍

The Quality standards were lowered for refining gasoline. In other words 'shitty gasoline'. I noticed this a couple of years ago on my Harley's fuel mileage and other riders pointed it out, too.

I've seen it at world on wheels, still looks amazing and that green is something else. Kinda want to do green and black on my hornet now I have all the green interior trim. I think you need a bigger wing mounted off the rear bumper for the 57 👌

I have had my '56 Buick 4dr hdtp for 38 years.

The '56 is the same color the '57 hardtop used to be before paint. I noticed it on the firewall and other small spots.
