Can I ask how often do you check you equipment. I live in Chicago and summer get hot and cars are real bad. I keep my bag in all the time. I have never found anyone that says anything about it
I looked around and thought, OMG! I have tons of back packs, sling bags, 1,2,3 day back packs and range bags of all different shapes and sizes! One thing I like to keep in all of them is a road flare vacuum sealed in a food saver bag. Road flares are a great tool for emergency use, fire starter and make a heck of a defensive weapon against all kinds threats if you have time to deploy it!
I have way to many bags as well. Smart idea to keep the flares in and tight fit sealed bag .. we burned up a few cars over the years accidentally due to road flares rolling around in the trunk or rear space of SUV's.
I purchased the DDT Assassin bag based off your review from a year ago. I am 100% delighted with this bag and I have enhanced it significantly. I added a VISM Double Range Pistol case along with two Vanquest CCW HOLSTER Hook-&-Loop Inserts to make it a 3 pistol case that I slide in the main pocket. It carries 3 pistols and all of the loaded mags. On the outside of Molle webbing I added a Vanquest Medical Bag, and on the side Molle webbing I added an inexpensive zipped bag to hold the Ear Pro. By using a combination of multiple bags I have compartmentalize this bag to function better than a 300 dollar high end bag. The down side is that the CCW holster that came with it was built incorrectly. I didn't bother to send it back and purchased a Condor Universal Holster for a small price tag so I can carry a fourth pistol in the hidden side compartment.
Great follow up! I ended getting the urban version based on your recommendation and I love it. I tend to over pack it more often but it’s holding up amazing. For the price point I don’t think you will find many bags that are going to be a better value than this this and the urban sling.
I bought one of these for going to the gym. I used to take a regular backpack to the gym and was just too big. This bag is the perfect size for the gym. Thanks for the review
I ordered this bag from this review, it answered all of the curiosities I had on it. I will sub to this channel as the information was concise and not pushy at all. Good review.
I have been searching for a while now including some higher end bags, but this one seems to stand out. Better price, High viz interior makes a big difference when looking for something small. The stabilizer strap is important too. Some bags don't even have them at all and many don't allow you to tuck it away. Sometimes you do not need it but also you don't want it dangling around either. Sounds like this bag holds up pretty well too. Bottom line... got one coming haha. I suspect that I will remove that extra strap on the outside like you did because hanging stuff there on a small bag doesn't seem like a great idea. Overload. Thanks for putting it on. Lots of reviewers don't. Helps to see it on. Size of bag on my back? I'm 5'8" and 140 pounds. Use your imagination haha.
Got the same bag just branded differently, works good for mags, flashlights bc I'm a light junkie . knives EDC stuff , I even break down my m&p1522 pistol and fits in the bag.
Just ordered one after watching your first video, I was heavily considering a maxpedition sitka, I actually feel bad for maxpedition because it seems that several cheaper brands have figured out who to order the same designs from with minor changes and for some like this bag even some improvements.
Yeah most of these items come from a few different factories. Generally there will be some differences in the quality of materials in cheaper ones but sometimes you find the no name brands for a better price.
I'm in Tucson if you ever want to make videos with other RU-vidrs. I have that same bag. I use it as my carry-on flight bag. I fly a few times per year. good bag.
I'm baccckkkk! (Hurricane Ida kept me down with no power and no internet for nearly 3 weeks) Never been to fond of sling bags, but that's probably me being old school.
What are the dimensions of the main pocket? The 17 x 12 x 9 overall dimensions puts this thing at 30 liters and it just doesn't look that big. Plus whose loading out 30l in a sling. It would be way too heavy for one shoulder.
Maybe I missed it, but I see you have the strap on your left shoulder... Is it possible to use it on the right side? Thanks for your time and the videos man. ✌️
@@TacticalConsiderations thanks for your time and the feed back man.. That sucks.. I think I'll try it out and how I like this one over similar maxpedition type... Anyways, take it easy and thanks again for the vid✌️😎👍💯
This is exactly like your first vid on this pack! I know how packs wear over time. Where's the scuffing,? You can't tell me you utilised this pack for 12 months!
Because I don't throw it all over the ground. My wife still uses this every other day to walk the dogs and guess what it still pretty much looks the same.
