I don't think he's sacrificing him but he sees how Ryan is behaving and functioning. I think he wants to transfer that Ryan stardom to someone on his own stable that also has that special ability but is dedicated and stable, which is Vergil. If Ryan wasn't behaving like a crash out, he probably wouldn't push for this fight but since he is why not try to transfer that stardom onto someone who's the real deal and stable on his own roster. Personally, I don't want to fight to happen until later on down the road.

Virgil is 154 and is now fighting a very dangerous Russian with 24 wins, 23 by way of KO. Virgil has been ducked when he was 140. The. When he was at 147 and even now at 154.
