The Spartans improved to 13-4 and 8-0 at home after an 8-5 win versus Monte Vista yesterday. Lefty hitters Tyler Spangler, Alec Blair, and Joe McGee all hit long home runs as the Spartans overcame a 5-2 deficit. Jack Karst tossed three and two thirds innings of shutout baseball while striking out 5 to pick up the pitching win. De La Salle will play the Mustangs at Monte Vista tomorrow at 4pm.
