2Chainz is awesome! He's often dropping great verses. He was a surprise guest at a Kendrick Lamar show. He was amazing live! Then there was the 2 Chainz verse on the new Run The Jewels album... Yeah, I'm definitely keeping an eye on him now.

De la soul is still bangin. I love the fact that this is considered underground and not main stream. I love underground shit. It hits sooooo hard than radio play.
I don't know how you define underground hip hop, but there is plenty of good music that is mainstream. 2 Chainz sound is definitely not old school, but he's dope as hell! Drake too. Lil Wayne... I've been listening to a lot of Rick Ross lately. I guess, out of all those names, Drake is probably the most popular one. That guy is a killer on the mic. I can't stand his singing. It's too monotone. But his rapping?? Whew! He's amazing.

The first time I watched this it reminded me of the Kool Keith ft DOOM - Super Hero video so I rewatched it and yup, they're both made by the same visual studio.
You don't hear dominate raps flows like this in today's hip hop. Now I am convinced cats forgot how to be dope MC's/Rappers. So kids today will not appreciate real talent nor understand how to be different and creative.
2 Chainz is supremely capable. Extremely intelligent, feeling product on many occasions but backpackers instantly write him off. This is a great collabo.
