This is still a massive tune to this day ,I’m 46 now but still have the memories like we all have from from the good old 90’s days from the hardcore rave scene in the very early 90’s right through to the clubbing days in the late 90’s for me anyway .... great times had by all 😜☝️
Headphones up max volume here trying to block out my mother's daytime radio quota.. she's nearly deaf, half demented and needs round the clock watching, bless her. Thank God for this🙏🙏🙏
@@themangyman my equipment is in storage and I am still buying and building up mixes I can just do as soon as I get back on it I love mostly 94/98 I vinyl from all eras but the those special years nothing else comes close
This is one of those tunes that, if you are in crowded place - chatting to your mates whatever-this song will cut through the noise and hold you directly- like a siren- it demands your attention and you can always remember the time you first heard it
The 90s.. when you listened to dance anthems on the radio and they drop an instant classic and you sat there mesmerised as a teenager, hoping to hear the name so you can find it in the record shop...
Mate we were dancing to this in summer 1995 in Ku club Ibiza - think it trailed as early as Spring 94' at the Miami Music Conference (do they still have that?!). Just shows what a long life music has
I'm really glad i had the luck to listen to this song at the right age, with the right GF, with my best friends at the right party with the right substance in my body. That experience has been my Woodstock, 3 days of love music and happiness. The 90's with this new wave of electronic music had been amazing!
music is nostalgic based. is what I always say. It has the power to bring forth a nostalgic smell (cannabis). a certain flavor (liquor). a certain feeling (love/hate/sadness).
This is a Production *MASTERPIECE* Its not follwoing a usual generic standard pattern its all over the place dirty gritty beat hard bass loads of random percussion Vocals so so good Synth heaven
Ahhh, yes..running the streets of New York City all hours of the night in and out of clubs throughout the 90's meeting all the boys. Remember this one well! DAYUM life was FUN!
This track never gets old I set RU-vid to open with this everytime I open it on my phone this kicks off and I LOVE IT everytime it plays its a real feel good track...
Ogni volta che prendo questo vinile è sempre un'emozione forte, e nonostante siano passati 23 anni questo pezzo rimane attuale...ha qualcosa di magico.
I played this in clubs in London england and everyone went nuts when i dropped it in always got the dance floor rocking :) all time favourite reminds me of my early years after moving to London in 1994 :)
Takes me directly back to the SportsCafe central London winter 1995/96......golden era with so many hot babes, great beats & no goddam iphones to steal everyone's night ....
This is the kind of tune that still manages to please my senses and make my body move to the frequency and beat I love as the first time I heard it !! 🤜🤛🏼🌟💫⚡
that sketchy dirty beat! drags itself along, teases, pumps and calls to all. defined an era. brought me up and took me on a journey. still sounds fresh as today. genius.
non ho parole .......l originale e bella ma questa spacca ancora oggi......che bei ricordi quegli anni la fine di un epoca vera e l inizio della merda di oggi
I remember Moneypenny's going mental when Sasha dropped this after everyone surrounded the DJ booth and refused to let him out until he played "ONE MORE TUNE!"
This was my favourite dance tune from 1995 into the late 90s and remains among my all time favourites, it'll never stop sounding fresh for me, the vocal echo is the icing on the cake for me, imagine the tune without it, would still be a great tune but it plays a big part of the tune for me, love everything else about it aswell, Respect to the uploader and everyone who gave the thumb up, those who gave the thumb down should go and listen to some of today's chart music, come back here and listen to this again and i would bet that most of them would have a second thought, this is what you call music!
I’ll echo that!, awesome tune, that beat just goes right through you and that sure is one killer vocal. Just listening to this and you feel 18 again. Great days!
Oh Lord.....Jesus Christ where have you been all my life. Back in the day it was hard to get the artists names if you really like this kind of music. You just couldn't get it. Radio shows would play this kind of music live from clubs and i still had trouble knowing the name of the song. I still have all my techno and trance and eurodance mix tapes. This shit will never get old.
Yeah some things you say are right. However the best years of dance clubs was the 90's, FACT. In the UK anyway. Clubs like gatecrasher, Cream, Ministry etc as well as many many nights up and down the country had atmospheres that will never happen again, it sold out and is no more. Yes alot of it was due to excess and the new fresh care free spirit. Those nights in house clubs will never ever happen again, the current nights in Ibiza don't come close. I was there. Love and peace.
I remember the song and deep dish have cropped up on RU-vid with their brilliant remixes quite a few times. At least the brilliant drumming was maintain in this mix. this only get to number 9 in the uk charts if memory serves me correctly. Until downloading the songs never went up the charts they enter the charts and go down the following week unless it was the number one song.when before the steady clime Up the charts.
Thanks for your words.... for me is one of my top 5 favorite tracks too!! GREAT... more and more "De 'Lacy".... guauuuuu!!!! my eyes... mmmmm!! soulfoul house real!!
Amazing how the memories come back..i was a care free irresponsible teen when this came out and here i am now 2 o clock on a wednesday in a suit on a train heading to the office!!!....
