These companies know that they can drop the rate down to .25 cents a mile and they will still have people who will deliver for them because if ppl need money they will do whatever to make what they can make. It’s a lose lose battle. They will always have either bots or ppl willing to work for the scraps.
Sorry to hear that! This is the first time they’ve put your video in my feed, but I piqued my curiosity and I’m thinking if you get a hold of an actual person there that may be like somebody said you have to update insurance or something.
Ya grubhub booted me last year. I really could care less I hated that app. Uber still gets me enough to keep it on tho with spark. DD is awful now that they changed, so you arent missing out on doortrash unless you wanna be a 90% acceptance rate employee.
@6:30 immigration laws - are you saying that many drivers are earning money without a green card or us work permit? i don't know much about the subject
I don't usually follow RU-vidrs advice but it was your screw over from door dash that got me to switch my pay to the Dasher direct card. I even did the Uber card too because none can be trusted. They probably work across the hall from each other.
I’m glad I chose dasher direct. I didn’t really want my bank account on the app at first. And then I read all over Reddit that people’s accounts were getting broken into. Now I definitely don’t want my bank acct on the DD app.
Aaron i believe you went a extra step with delete your account profile and that why u cant log in. Its happen to me with my rideshare account when i deleted. I waited a 2 or 3 year than i decide to apply new # and email and got it back.
What’s happening now is they pop up with these new terms of service or agreement and there we go accepting knowing nobody is actually reading the 15 pages of things and somewhere in there they add something I’m sure that says they can deactivate at will and for sure for too many declines
When was your last GrubHub delivery? Just curious, I know a few people on here that have recently been deactivated but they hadn't done a GrubHub delivery in 2+ months
Sounds more like a contracted employee instead of an independent contractor if they are pushing you to take all the orders and if not force you out with non profitable orders or just straight up deactivate you.
I will say it again... you need to file a complaint with your State Attorney General office and the state where each app is located like California. This is the bare minimun you need to do. They will be required to respond within 30 days. ❤
He worked seven days a week. Maybe that's OK for young people, but older people need to relax occasionally. I don't want to work every single day until they shovel me into the earth.
My dude, I was recently deactivated from DD and GH. It’s a very disheartening feeling. DD was because they claimed I falsely reported a store as closed. GH, I suspect, was for a traffic citation. My advice for you - become a thorn in their sides. Do not give up on the first denial. Keep appealing. Do it as many times as possible until you speak with someone. It will happen. (I have a friend in the insurance industry. He told me that, by default, they automatically deny three times before looking at your appeal.
I have a full time job so if they kick me off it does not matter to me. I could not do the doordash gig job full time because I need benefits. I still doordash once in a while. I could never make a living during this full time..
If you don't do at least 1 day a month to keep account activated then you get kicked off app. You are telling algorithm you don't want to the job and it will kick you off app if you don't do at least 1 day a month to keep account open.
Uber says it's locked not deactivated? So did u reach out to them? What have you done that has caused them to do u this way? Grub hub put me on hold one time because the insurance needed to be updated. Yes they will put u on hold if u have not taken any order in a while. We need more.information. full disclosure
With UE I don’t think it was anything other than you not logging in and they are not allowing someone to use your phone without validating it’s you. Still pretty crappy of them. :-/
Sounds like you could have maybe got hacked to because it seems suspicious that you were deactivated off of all three counts around the same time. You need to get ahold of them all and try to get reactivated I think it's some kind of glitch or possibly you were hacked that caused you a problem on your device.
Not really the people are making money are the ones who want to work ft . In California the average Amazon Walmart associate makes between 19-24hr ft if you work warehousing which they are always hiring especially peak season because no one wants to work those jobs anymore Walmart and other warehouse start 17 -26 hr and lots of overtime available and overnight shifts is 22-28hr . You can make 3290.00-4330.00 a mo guarantee pay working ft and still gets you a tax refund tax season. Many people like working and receiving a guaranteed paycheck but they become dependent on that pay unless you invest some of your income in smart investments or other money ventures. I work for myself and make 8500k a month I own a childcare center and that alone makes me 15444.00 a month minus expenses my 8500k is my savings every month. It’s a lot that comes with earning income sometimes you have to adapt to what’s booming by learning new skills or be willing to relocate to follow the money or work for others if your losing money on your own business. It’s evolving with the times . We slacked off during COVID and worked less . Now it’s like we have to work harder to keep living comfortably or just keep living in the same place as we are with everything costing more post lockdown
wow locked is a great idea for the apps - fraudulent activity locks it - they can define that how they like and i think it would reduce or give them zero liability
Too many broke people desperate for money that will do it for any price in conjunction with the sheer number of people out there puts the pricing in their favor. From what your saying it sounds like they closed your account for inactivity similar to banks doing it for dormant accounts. It's as good as it's going to get at least thru the rest of this year or longer.
Yes, I’m thinking this. Spark support told me it was from inactivity on my account and shipt was the same way. Shipt let me back on but Spark is a disaster trying someone who can help.
Did you just stop logging in or what? UberEats has been throwing me such bs offers lately and trying to manipulate me into low paying stacked trips so I just haven't been logging in much. Now I am getting random offers again. What a horrible company.
Sounds to me you need to go to small claims court and soon for I'm just the activation I think the Uber professor or something like that he's got a RU-vid channel he helps people in those kind of situations but you might have a legitimate claim also these companies are probably in cahoots too
Referencing the professor to help when he can’t even get his own claims settle from either Uber or Lyft is funny. Keep dreaming thinking he has any support for gig workers. Get a lawyer and handle it that way not some wanna be middleman who just files paperwork
That’s because Uber eats likes drivers like me. I keep anywhere from about 50-72 Ar 98 satisfaction. 0% cancellation rate. I never cancel orders. The only time they get canceled is when they are closed. I do about 35 hours a week make make avg 800-1100 .
That’s so funny because I haven’t in so many months and I just check to see if they’re finally in my area and nope. And I’m not even like out in the boonies or anything.
You posted your complete details in that one video. I was going to tell you to delete that part but the video already had close to a thousand views when I saw it. I'm guessing a hater is at work. They had all the info needed to pretend to be you and ask for your account to be deleted or to steal your account.
Uber eats has a problem with holding back the customer rating . They use it as ammunition for later when they want to get rid of you . All my thumbs down hit my account at once and put me in a spot I couldn't get out of.
He’s right Aaron not even the fact whether he brings up the scammers and bots or not. Anybody knows you cannot rely on gig work for sustainable income. Times have changed you gotten to comfortable.
Take the orders! That’s the job these days. The profits of the pandemic days are done! You’re an employee. Not a contractor - despite the terms. Either accept it or do something else. That’s the harsh reality
I wont take a no tip order 2 feet up the road. It’s called having principles and respect for yourself. If im gonna run my car I’m going to make sure I’m profiting while doing so
@AaronsGig that's where the money is at brother. If you don't want to go work for 12 to 15 bucks an hour spend 30 grand on a nice van you'll get the money back in 3 months with the way you hustle. 3/4 ton high top..
Come on man you gotta be doing something shady.... I been doing these apps for the past 5 YEARS almost 6 coming up now.... Not once i been deactivated from ANY of them. WHAT are you doing???? They wont just deactivate you for no reason you HAVE to be doing something wrong
I mean there's also people like me, that need this app and need financial opportunities and will take ANYTHING around 80 cents to the mile. And you know what I make around 250 dollars a day and I don't complain. Sounds like all you cherry pickers don't really need this app.
