Absolutely love the series, listened to everything but the el Paso section so far. It would be cool to see some day one stories centered on marines, there's definitely some that the initial order to fire upon civilians wouldn't faze them and there greater amount of combat experience would be interesting.

So...im not criticizing the story. Well written and well narrated. Im just tired of zombie stories and series that really arent about zombies. They are really war stories with people battling people and the zombies are barely background noise. To confess - i dont like war stories but i like zombie. So hope you appreciate my chagrin when the two become one. Guess zombies are not enough of a challenge on their own. 😢

I try to find that balance between humans v zombies and humans v humans. And humans v humans v zombies. Because all 3 of those scenarios would be taking place in the apocalypse. And I also do the standalone series set in the opening hours/days of the outbreak (tales series). And I'll be doing one of those a week as well.
