The killer's actual name is The Unknown. The Eyeless women is one of it's purchasable skins. The Unknown is basically a creature that's been roaming since at least the 1800s that can mimic voices to lure people to their doom, and then he uses the skin of it's victims as a costume. It gets its name from the fact that nobody knows what it is, and people have been killed by it for trying to find out what it is. The Unknown's default appearance has it wearing the skin of a man wielding a fire axe.

@@radiogobrrrrrrr1949 I dont know about that character too much. But not even the Entity fully understands or knows what the Unknown is. What we see very well isn’t actually what it is. It wears meat suits so it has a tangible body.

Just FYI the killer is called The Unknown. Eyelets Woman is the name of one of its skins, as it quite literally wears the skins of its victims, regardless of gender. The default is very male-presenting... looks like Dwight actually.

The fact that it has two voices and which one is more "Prominent" depending on if it's a male or female skin is a nice touch.

It's a tulpa. A legend made real by belief in the story. It becomes whatever it's believed to be, which is why it's lore has so many mismatched details and why it's skins change what it is entirely. Its been said to be an alien, a military experiment, a slasher, a stalking mimicker. These are common tropes for local legends, hence it has aspects of each in its default form. It's power refers to military weapons, it's mori mirrors the alien from The Thing, it carries an axe like a slasher weapon, and it speaks to entice you to come closer.

There's a teaser for the unknown where it shows a pov from a survivor in a tent. he looks alot different in the first teaser and more scary!

So, huge Alan Wake fan here. I saw you chuckled at the use of flashlight for Alan. All of Alan's perks tie heavily with the mechanics and lore of the Alan Wake games. Essentially, he fights these baddies called "Taken" with a gun and a flashlight. The flashlight destroys the "darkness shield" that covers them, so that they are vulnerable to his gunfire. Also, in the world of the Alan Wake games, his fiction comes to life. Remedy, the developers of Alan Wake, and BHVR teamed up to make Alan's inclusion into the Dead By Daylight game canon to his own games. Essentially, this is one of his many attempts to escape the Dark Place using an old episode format from a TV show he wrote for. So, you can kind of say, that Dead By Daylight was written by Alan Wake. Alan Wake was one of the inspirations for the Dead By Daylight developers. It'd be really cool if you guys could check out the story of Alan Wake. Alan Wake 2, especially. 🖤

Kind of a sad fact here. In the trailer for the All Things Wicked chapter, Sable Ward (The newest survivor) is looking for another playable survivor Mikaela Reid. Apparently she’s been missing for 2 year by the time Sable is taken from The Entity, so everytime Sable and Mikaela are put in a trial together, It’s always gonna be the first time Sable has seen Mikaela in 2 years since their memories are wiped after every trial.

I'm surprised it didn't include the original Teaser for the Unknown. There is one where it's a video of a guy in a tent. You guys should definitely watch it, it's intense.

The unknown its the coolest killer the devs have created by far it has the best look and it looks the scariest, as for their story it is very different from others aswell If you ever want to react to its lore, i really recommend a video made by a youtuber called DMuted that covers its origins, the inspiration, the gameplay and by far the best thing about the chapter, the teasers that sadly are not featured in the DBD youtube account but are by far the best advertisement the game has had

Ya know what’s really creepy. In the game there’s a map with a theater as you all saw in the trailer, that theater is actually in real life, in Grenville or whatever it’s called. So it’s very terrifying to think about. The new killer is very good it’s one of the most horrifying then I’ve seen in-game for a long time. Love the reaction ty 🎉

The teaser was basically the most important thing to watch before the Sable focused chapter trailer... and you also got a focus on a skin over the base killer, especially with the mori. IDK if there is someone that puts these together for you, or not, but first time reactions are hard to come by, and it sucks when it doesn't end up in the right order. :(

You should definitely check out The Unknown voice lines in the future. It mimics its victims kinda like Fiddlesticks from LoL. Also noticed you guys didn’t include the teaser short for The Unknown. It’s a really short teaser that shows what happens to one of the victims.

Alan Wake has his own couple games. Hes a writer but the story hes writing begins to manifest in reality. People are taken over by shadows and become monsters. Alan uses a flashlight to cleanse the shadow and make them vulnerable to kill hence why the flashlight is pivotal to him. Whenever hes involved I believe it means hes writing the narrative around him. Remedy, the devs for Alan Wake, also made Control which has a DLC focused around Alan as a prelude to Alan Wake 2. A lot of the lore hints at the idea that he wrote the narrative for Control and made the Bureau in that game. The other survivor, Sable, is friends with our resident wiccan Mikaela, the orange haired witchy lookin survivor. Sable taught her the magic she knows and Sable has a lot more power over the entity's realm than most. She has a new perk type called Invocation and her invocation perk lets her perform a ritual in the basement to complete like 15 perfect of every generator on the map instantly. It does take a while to pull off and youre 1 hit for the rest of the match but its cool. Sable entered the Entity's realm while searching for her friend Mikaela who went missing. So she's here willingly which is a bit crazy.

This new killer is definitely one of the scariest they've added its lore even states its still unknown what it is (hence the name The Unkown) but from bits and peaces it can mimic the voices and cries of it victims and takes the form of what people think it looks like so it has many forms 😬

New killer, specifficaly The Unknown... it is one of killer fun to play against to it. And fun to play as it. It's interesting, while in-game has voice and saying "I'm sorry." and similiar things. Otherwise, how about The Huntress backstory lore?

The teaser for the Unknown is honestly the best teaser they’ve ever done. I will say while I love the Unknown, I’m kinda disappointed. The teaser set up some creepy crawler stealth killer but instead they essentially pull out a grenade launcher and it creates hallucinations. I love The Unknowns entire vibe and the power is really fun but it feels like there was a disconnect at some where between Bhvr team.
