He took the face render directly off the actress who played Amanda in the movies, that’s why it looks so good. They should do the same thing with Laurie, she needs a serious facial rework.

@@yeed2945 But I saw a Q/A with Shawnee and Tobin Bell where they asked her about DBD, and she said she wasn't involved in it, and said she was actually disappointed that they never asked her. So I bet if they approached her to use her likeness for an unmasked Pig, she'd probably say yes. Of course, I would imagine the main reason they didn't approach her is that aside from the little squeak she makes when she's hit by a pallet, she makes no noise other than the canned roar, so there wouldn't be much in it for Shawnee to come all the way to the studio and record that single noise, unlike Ash, who actually has dialogue.

The issue may have been copyright. They might not have had permission to make Amanda look like the actress.

The easy fix would be to create a new outfit for her. Use her barefoot, turquoise/teal outfit from Saw II, uniform bright colors so when she appears without the mask, it's a bright color ensemble that still draws the eye and makes you notice her.

No, Whannell just took the entire build-up of Saw II, which was perfect, and retconned it. I mean, Amanda did the nerve gas house game flawlessly in Saw II, and then in III, she's suddenly a hateful psychopath. I don't know what happened. Either Whannell was trying to end the franchise on the third film by himself, (which is nuts, the studio was going to keep pumping them out as long as they made tons of money) Or a bunch of people complained that the new Jigsaw was going to be a girl so they killed her off. I mean, think about it. Saw III, Whannell kills off Kerry, Adam, Amanda, John, and they wrote and filmed Amanda killing Matthews but cut the scene. So he basically killed off every holdover character from Saw and Saw II except for Rigg in one film. But the only way to kill her was to do exactly what Whannell did to her character. Really, there way she could win. He made her rig traps, kill Kerry, kill Adam, go back to cutting....Even if she HAD passed her test, Whannell wrote her to be so irredeemable that she'd never have been accepted as the new Jigsaw. He literally wrote her into a corner to kill her. It's a shame, because there was a lot of potential just wasted.

I think that the way her mindset was when she was dying (in dbd cannon) is more fitting for killer

Or maybe the "realm" modified her a bit. I mean Shawnee is only 5'3", and they kept that accurate, so she's still the shortest killer on the game. I notice though in the actual gameplay, at least on mobile, her body doesn't look that much buffer than she did in the actual film.
