memento mori should totally just be Jacket ripping the throat out of the survivor, he was taught it during Hotline Miami's interpretation of the cold war. It is a Guerilla Tactic and he even does it in game if executed properly.
It would be sick if he punched them and knocked them down, and then got on top and did the head smashes like in the game, or with a weapon with unique animations, either would be badass

I feel like within DBD Jacket as a characters reaction to the realm would probably be similar to Deathslinger, with the entity altering his vision to see the survivors as russian mobsters or he would be a less extreme version of Trapper, actively fighting against the entity however he can.
Considering it's said that the Jacket from Payday 2 is confirmed to not be the same Jacket from HM, they could say it was HIM who was pulled into the Entities realm. Why? Well this Jacket has no problem mindlessly killing people. He'll literally go out of his way to gun down cops and civilians alike. Hell, he literally bashed the brains out of a defenseless cloaker with a hammer after presumably wiping his entire squad with just an Uzi. He went as far as to have him cuffed and pissing his pants scared before he actually killed him. Soo, although the idea of the real Jacket being manipulated into thinking the survivors are mobsters is a cool concept, I honestly love the idea of a bat shit insane Jacket knowing damn well he's hurting innocent people because he simply "enjoys hurting other people."

@Sugma_BalLz69 the entity is very manipulative, it could use phone calls from Hotline Miami to trick him into believing that they are mobsters in disguise and maybe alter his perception to enhance the effect. It did that with plenty of the killers.
The Animal's perks Sung Together: The entity needs specific places cleansed, it only sends the best for the job. Whenever you kick a generator, it is then marked. Whenever two or more survivors are within 16m of a marked generator they are exhausted, hindered, and blinded. These effects last for 3 seconds after beginning a chase, entering the radius while in a chase prevents these debuffs. Only one generator at a time can be marked this way. Midnight Animal: Your mania and savagery will inspire fear and awe in the rest of humanity. Downing a survivor inflicts exhausted on all survivors within 8m for 6 seconds, the downed survivor is inflicted with hemorrhage, deafened, and mangled until healed to the healthy state. This perk then goes on cooldown for 60 seconds Prank Call: Your past experience has shown you how to be efficient, relentless, and unstoppable Entering bloodlust grants you a 50% bonus to kicking pallets, breakable walls, and Generators. Exiting bloodlust grants a bonus 25% vault speed for 10 seconds. This perk then goes on cooldown for 60 seconds.
For voicelines, they could do what PayDay 2 did for Jacket and have it be spliced audio tapes. For example, when downing a survivor, you hear, "Thank you for calling, the number you have called is currently unavailable."
I love this idea. Jacket psychopathic behavior and wild in game visuals would absolutely fit in the world of DBD But what would his power be? I don't want him to just be a skin for Legion or Trickster (though those would fit)
i was thinking about something like jacket having to do 3 hits to down a survivor, but having weapons around the map that lets you do the normal 2 hit down and you can also throw them, like huntress hatchet, but also giving you the option to pick it up from the ground. When you do a combo, (hitting maybe 4 hits within 1 minute, still not sure about the numbers tho) you can change your mask for 30 seconds, to either jake (throwing weapons now 1 hits someone) tony (punches also take them down in 1 hit) or brandon (doubles your movespeed)
@@rodnei2352 I don't know much about DBD, balance related, but my idea is for the killer to not be Jacket but "the Animals" a metaphorical manifestation of violence and hatred that corrupted those people in HM, and The Animals had the ability to change masks to gain acess to different buffs like Jacket in Hotline Miami 1, and also (I don't know, via perk cards or whatever) the maps this killer was present had telephone booths that could be sabotaged by survivors and if it wasn't The Booth would eventually ring and if the Killer was nearby he could take the call and it would highlight a target for him to kill on the map, that survivor(target)would be highlighted for sometime. Edit: More into your idea changing masks would also change the weapon The Animal uses(without affecting the damage), just to better show each personality, like the Locust using a Drill, the pig with a meat cleaver and the tiger brass knuckles.
Fitting AND sounds good, Honestly better than I can say for like 80% of fan made chase musics on RU-vid, after you start looking you find a lot that don't sound so great. Still makes me sad Hunk never got his own custom chase music but I can see why. Regardless this fits Jacket Perfectly and does Hotline Miami's soundtrack a true service. Well Done Sir.
There is another that sounds good, sure. But I am not quite a fan of the "chase" music itself there. This one REALLY hits it home with accuracy to the soundtrack of the Hotline Miami games however. Its something I can believe hearing in one of the games.

Even if this is meant to be HM1, i would have taken "Technoir" as reference for the chase theme, since it fits perfectly on those scenes. Atleast i still can have the chance to hear it if you consider doing more characters like "The Miami Mutilator" (Many Pardo)

The tape isn't canon though, it was made for payday 2 so that he could speak too, since in the original hotline miami we cannot hear him speak. But he isn't mute.
I imagine a Hotline Miami chapter would make Legion not the only killer that you can change the character of with cosmetics, and make this the first killer to have actual different weapons instead of different skins for a weapon
Skull Merchants Dual Blade turns into a Saw Blade, going as far to change her weapon cool down animation changes when she hits a Survivors, so don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure she's the first killer to change genuine weapons
While watching this i had some ideas pop into my head One of them was legion cosmetics referencing the fans from HLM2. Another was a cosmetic for jeff referencing jackets war buddy bread. And the last was a legendary/visceral cosmetic for jacket that turns him into biker because you play as bikee in near the end of the first game

It does make me sad thought that chances are we'll never get him the actual game, which is a really big shame when there's potential like this. are you gonna do another what if videos with this?

I absolutely love this concept and piece, but if theres one thing Id want to criticize is that I feel the synth melody that comes in during the chase track takes the foreground a bit too strongly and overpowers the rest of the track. I think if it was slipped in a bit more subtly itd b perfect tho :3
New Killer: The Animal Background: A barbaric killer who wiped out the Russian mafia and plunged the streets of Miami into fear, he is capable of brutal and ruthless violence, using a display of animal masks to terrorize Survivors. Power: Your Inner Animal Description: You are capable of changing methods and finding answers to a situation just around the corner. There are eight Masks, of which one (Richard) is always on his face unless he is wearing a different Mask and three others are randomly chosen and scattered thoroughout the map. Each will give a different weapon or ability and only one Mask can be worn at a time. Using the Pick Up interaction he can pick it up and put it on. Masks that give a melee weapon also give the ability to throw the weapon in a straight line for some meters, but the Mask will be gone if this is done. A random Mask can be dropped on the floor at any time and takes 1 second to put on. Richard (Rooster): Baseball Ball with normal reach and lunge. If this weapon is thrown, it is gone and the Animal has to use Fists, which have low reach but normal lunge. George (Giraffe): The Animal gains the ability to look further and with a better FOV while holding the Secondary Power button, slowing him down in the process. Fists only. Rabbit mask: While The Animal has Rabbit mask on, he gains 4.8 m/s speed, breaks pallets and vaults 10% faster, but his lunge is reduced by 60% and he has to hit survivors 3 times to down them. First hit will cause injury, second will put survivors into deep wounds and only third will down them. Owl mask: While The Animal has Owl mask on, he gains 24 m terror radius and new abillity - Echolocation. I literally was thinking about this but instead of masks he grabs different weapons from lockers, my sledgehammer idea is pretty much the same as your tiger mask, knife for the rabbit mask, now the owl mask i didnt think of and i like the idea of it

Спасибо! Да композитор у них будто все по настрою делает. Сначала для Вескера концерт целый, потом лупы пятисекундные, а потом резко для чужого погоню реворкнул на добротную. Кстати, связь с треком этим вышла случайно :D

A hotline miami DLC would be nothing less than a dream come true. I don't know what the chances for it to happen are, probably not very high. But if it does happen I hope they do something similar to what you've done. Beautiful all around, faithful both to Hotline Miami's style of soundtrack and to DBD's present tension and gradual build-up in every killer's music. Though if that was the chase music I'd be far too busy bopping to loop / chase. It's a banger. As it should be. Fantastic work!
i gonna need that Menu Theme Loop, It's really captured that Animalistic Vibe on the inside of Original Game while dawn on itself Coat of Horror Flick that's DBD, overall One of the Best Fanmade theme i've ever heard. Even the Concept redesign is more fitting than that of Payday2, a more Goofy, Cute but Ominous enough to give the uneasy feeling when staring for too long.
The menu theme is a remixed version of "Deep Cover". The music heard in Jacket's apartment between levels. Start there and look for some remixes you like

Amazing work. This is absolutely menacing and crazily hyped - I can sense and feel the insanity inside of it. PS: I know this is a crazy request but would you perhaps make Fan Made Chapter "The Ruiner Game" ? It is quite similar to Hotline Miami although it is Cyberpunk themed.
