Something I noticed long ago - Zubat really enjoys ranged killers (deathslinger, trickster), which I guess singularity kinda is. Scott meanwhile likes speedy killers with lunge-based powers (Wesker, Demo, Blight) EDIT: proven true once more! Scott likes Xeno.
@@czempin23 you're the classic guy, Killer x is the killer y+z, when in reality, the fact that you are combining more than 1 killer to get a single killer, means that it's different
@@czempin23 I can honestly see why you think that but at the same time he's kind of not because unlike merchant his entire play style does not rely solely on the 3-gen strat
the glorious mecha-meatball, who does the last 2 killer's jobs better and more enjoyable even. edit: i didn't think this would spark an argument/debate, i do actually kinda like Knight (mainly stylistically), but I've grown tired of skull merchant as of late myself. My comment was more jabbing that Hux does the "patrol, find and chase survivors" job in a much more fun way.
@@dumblenutz5561 There is nothing enjoyable about playing as or against Skull Merchant, quite literally has nothing but unfun mechanics. Knight can be fun to play as so I'll give you that.
@@CaptainDiagram So getting to roam around the map hunting survivors without the "they're working on gens i need to be quick!" stress on the back of your head doesn't sound fun for you? How about knowing where everyone is and making an informed decision to go for the most vulnerable one in the team and take them down with precision? Or the joy of finding an insane drone spot that's really efficient and hard to remove? To me it just sounds like you don't want to have fun with her to begin with if these aren't enjoyable for you.
@@dumblenutz5561 No, holding a 3 gen for free while chasing somebody cross-map is not fun lmao Would rather play literally any other killer in the game. games with her either are 30 minutes of holding gens or the survivors giving up, nothing different ever happens in the good 15 hours I put into playing her before giving up. You can't use her power in chase because survivors will just take the hit instead of standing there and getting exposed, the ONLY semi-fun thing her kit allows requires 2 purple add-ons and just turns her into a better clown in chase but also has the strongest 3 gen in the game because fuck you.
@@CaptainDiagram I take it that you aren't a fan of running regression perks then? Given that we just established not worrying about gens isn't fun for you. Somehow. Since that's just completely illogical. To begin with 3 genning is about as braindead as it gets with her, just like Knight. You really don't need to play her like that just like you don't with Knight either. A more nomadic, pressure focused playstyle with her is what i do and it works well; Place drones on the most contested gens and split pressure by getting alot of injuries, trying to force a panic scenario where everyone is injured and can't properly contest hooks or gens (if you run brown noise generator wich i highly reccomend). Her impossible skillcheck build is fun too also, as is her ultra rare addon that gives drones a terror radious on activation. Lots of build potential. There's also a chase build in there as you mentioned. Honestly if you couldn't do anything different in 15 hours of play despite all this to play with then you just weren't trying, wich doesn't surprise me since everyone writes her off and even if they do play her they won't have fun or try to enjoy her at all because they are constantly telling themselves in their head that she sucks, creating a negative stigma that ruins the experience.
On PTB version of this map new surv's orange jacket was so fitting into all the visual clutter of alien plants, i really missed the dude when he was standing still. Standing still is the new meta.
Neither side is ever happy, it's either something is too overpowered/underpowered or too boring, entitled survivors and killers are abundant each chapter
Played him for the first time today. Just 1 game. Got absolutely destroyed by a swf who used an emp every sjngle time I infected someone… It all went wrong
why does bhvr keep making new maps if borgo and joy and this toba whatnot is all we're gonna get, literally just red forest but shiny and alien and all the tiles and butchered like on borgo
@czempin I get the sentiment but if I do my best to avoid hitting the hooked survivor and they body block me I’m waiting out BT. I do it as survivor but I’m not going to complain that the killer tunneled me by waiting out the BT. It’s a gamble to do it.
@@czempin23 Yes they're protecting the survivor by abusing a mechanic meant to prevent tunneling, it's not meant to be used that way - the entitlement is real with yall, either use the mechanic for it's intended purpose or don't complain when you get tunneled - if the killer plays nice at least respect it don't test his patience.
Bro who wouldve predicted that this game is still alive and well HOW MANY YEARS LATER? (2016 btw SEVENYR OLD GAME)Why does everyone seem to comeback to this game???
Overtuned? Ive had the opposite experience, in a SWF it is easy to use EMPs to deny their power, and when I play Killer, it is damn near impossible to infect Survivors because EMPs are too readily available and can remove infection from everyone close by. Ive barely lost to them, in SWF and in SoloQ, because their power is too easy to deny.
I’m just glad they used his voice lines sparingly, Wesker once again take the cake in bad design but this time the sound department with the same 3 voice lines he uses every 30 seconds so I’m glad they didn’t make this killer as bad as him
