Seriously, it still looks better then the Last Chapters like the Artist,Trickster,Twins, or Nemesis. Resident evil Chapter in 2021 was pretty Dull for me.

that’s a fair opinion, but how did you find resident evil dull? 2 classic resident evil characters, with 2 legendary classic character skins, a pretty intimidating killer with unique AI zombies, a new flashbang mechanic, a new map (although maybe a bit too big). i think resident evil is a really solid chapter.

Why didn’t they use the us version? Just curious because I don’t think many people apart from even myself know much about the Japanese version or their character. I know dbd is global and I still think it’s cool but seeing Rachel Keller as survivor would’ve been pretty nice. Either way, paying homage to the original is good.

So, can someone who plays the game answer this? I've seen streamers play it, and as a HUGE horror fan, I love both the original characters and the licensed characters, but... I can't help but feel it looks a little repetitive. I remember three games came out around the same time with similar concepts (this, F13, and Last Year), and this one looked the least developed in terms of gameplay. What draws you all back?
