I still remember when I watched the original movie for the first time like a decade ago. I was a longtime Ju-On and Ringu fan, but I was so bummed that we'd never get anything truly like that ever again. Then I hear about this collab and I almost didn't believe it. Never in a million years would I have expected this, but boy is it welcome. Excited to relive Japanese horror and get scared shitless once again this March.

@@SSine there's a gradual noticeable difference each time the killer gets closer to you with their terror radius changing. The chase 1 is just the usual 36m music, then 24m, then 16m, then chase theme.

The only thing I would like to change or have added in for this killer would be some of the TVs actually being inside of the buildings/houses/temples instead of outside on the ground to give it more of a "She's Inside, Run!" Plus no other killer has solely had their in-game items be shown only inside the buildings whereas these killers have items placed all around the map. (Plague's cleansing statue, Cenobite's box, Demogorgon's portals, Trapper's bear trap, and the Artist's crow trap).

I got a few ideas for possible killers and survivors A monster survivor and human killer? Like a killer MIB agent hunting a survivor alien or a pirate killer hunting a survivor siren A killer from the Final Destination franchise who is just a regular person who unconsciously gives deadly bad luck to anyone they interact with for to long, so their weapon would be an invisible sphere of bad luck that they shoot out and causes the survivors organ damage A killer who is a pretty Hawaiian girl, who reluctantly has to make sacrifices to her god and she can control magma and the survivor can be a California tourist/surfer who fallen for her charms but now has to escape her

I am confused here. Sadako has that whole cursed tape thing, with only a apparently random set of days before she gets you. Does the entity like forced the survivors to watch the tape and then springs them into the field?

I'm just hoping that the devs eventually add access to the PTB for Xbox and PlayStation. It'd be nice cool to have cross-play on there as well, also for testing any bugs/malfunctions for consoles before live servers.

Because the nature of their ptb is patching the game, not the servers, they can't, as consoles require the patches to be sent to them for review before they can be approved before they can be implemented. The closest we can get is a beta code so you can access the ptb for free on pc

But to say that it threatens dbd is a stretch no game will have the legendary cast of killers or survivors. And dbd is 5 years strong about to be 6 actually so yeah I doubt vhs is going to be super impacting.

First power is teleportation . Second power is phasing/invisibility . Q1: Would you like preinstall TV near a gen like Freddy or you have to place it like demogorgon and Hag? Q2: Would you like a phasing ability like the spirit or a fast travel invisibility like the Wraith?

TVs will be placed through loading the match up. Like Krueger's clock units. After a minute passes teleportation can be minutely consistent in use, giving Samara undetectable for a few mere seconds. She'll be a 3 crossed killer of Krueger with teleportation to TV instead of gens. Demo with undetectable after emerging out a TV instead of a portal. And Spirit with phasing.

I understand the rights issue but I’m glad they have added some Sammeta features to Saduko since I never watched the Japanese version yet probably should. Wish they had the rights to both so I could play as Samara because I know the character but Im all for blending them.

I am a little no actually very confused on why we had to wait 3 months for this Chapter and it didn't even come with a map at all and the killer should have been able to use her hair but I guess since she didn't do it as much in the first film and novel that they wouldn't have added it maybe their just waiting to use it on The Grudge Chapter Kayako.
