I wanted to SCREAM when I saw the updated "The Game" map its so good and faithful to the movie now, easily my new favorite map after the silent hill map.

Am I the only one who really dislikes the new Crotus Penn? I feel like the old version did an excellent job of capturing a very dark, surreal, and otherwordly vibe that really appealed to me as a long-time horror fan. It felt like the survivors had just spawned into a nightmare (House of 1000 Corpses comes to mind). The new Crotus Penn is very bright and has more of a 'calm-after-the-storm' feel, like it's literally just a burnt up hospital that looks like it has it's place on planet Earth. The same goes for the new Macmillan maps, that deep blue, otherworldly vibe they used to have to them seems to have been lost in translation, it's something that really captured my interested when I first started playing the game, and I feel it's hard to come by in a lot of mediums these days. I LOVE the new Gideon Meat Plant rework though, looks a lot more gruesome and true to the source material.

in short, we all liked the new blue lighting that the bathroom will have

this looks amazing. the game is going to be amazing, especially now that its brighter, the circus at father campell's church looks way cooler with better colors and certain areas of detail, and the asylum looks the best out of the three maps. the asylum actually looks like an asylum now, it reminds me a bit of outlast in a way. really good job with these updates, Behavior.

The new maps look amazing!!!! We need new chase music for all killers like the clown. It was makes the chase exciting. The basic chase theme takes the fun out of killers with it

I like how the graphics improvement also makes the buildings go from looking dilapidated and rundown to looking somewhat structurally sound but also dilapidated and rundown lol.

Just re-installed Windows and thought about downloading DbD today, I guess my timing was on point.

DBD devs has a talent for graphic map "update" so you cant understand - where before and where after, where is worse and where is better

I'm sad they're changing the red room. That was one of my favorite rooms in the Gideon Meat Plant map. But overall the graphics look so much cleaner and realistic. Great job Behaviour!

this is the best graphical update by far, super hyped to see what they do next

they look dope, just hoping the Game map isn't as incredibly dark as it was during PTB, plus I'm kind of sad that they removed that one hiding spot upstairs in Asylum where the drop was behind the stairs :(

This is the thing about dead by daylight. It isn't what you call a "horror game" it's more like playing tag in the dark and getting bullied. If there's one thing that I know about horror is that in games and movies the killers are always stealthy so there's no point of having a terror radius or having a perk like spine chill in the game. Second survivors should atleast defend themselves by using other stuff instead of pallets, like why not a gun or a tazer. If the killer is human then the things available to defend would be a broken bottle or a tazer and if it's a monster then maybe a tranquilizer gun just so they can get stunned for 5 or 10 seconds. Instead of doing gens why not find parts that are missing in areas of the game and using them to open chests that might have guns or ammo and maybe even parts that you might need to open the exit gate. Killers should also be reworked like if they are camping by the hook their auras should be visible for other survivors so that they won't be killed. Killers don't need cooldown, when have you seen a killer do a cool down in movies when hitting someone? They stab multiple times in order to get their victims. I'm just trying to be realistic and stuff but most important I think killers should be more stealthy and should have emotes just like the survivors.

Hopefully the asylum also fixes that area where you drop from the second floor and there’s only one way out of that room. Got body blocked by the killer today and literally couldn’t move or escape from him cause he stood at the doorway.

I like the Crotus Prenn Asylum and Gideon Meat Plant, but the only graphical update I don't like is Father Campbells chapel. It felt a bit rushed tbh.
