Actually, I won't miss it. I hated 2 out of 5 old Coldwinds and the other 3 were better and less ugly, but still not even nearly pretty

I remember when Micheal was the only guest character, now we have a whole cult of guest characters.

I remember getting it for free with ps plus at 2018 and it's still one of my favorite and most fun games.

Visually the reworks are amazing. But gameplay is trash on most of them. Trapper is useless on new maps because of the grass, stealth killers can't stealth on half of the new maps.

nooo i mean the buildings and objects look great but everything else has just been ruined there's like zero colour now the maps are too bright and there's also zero fog there's no more dbd vibe to the maps

I would imagine it’s something far more horrifying than a laugh... Hopefully it is. You see, DBD is rated M, but lately it feels more of 13+ type of game . Especially with the censored/no gore Moris and the Kpop chapter. So its about time the devs start changing the game to a more “gore”, “horror” genre. Even if they have to change a simple laugh. That’s just my two cents

@@soldyrkare5790 I completely agree with you. Like, he still looks really cool and evil, but I think they lost what made doctor creepy to me. The old doctor appearance had a very disturbing face to it with the way it was done. His eyes with that smile looked like he was taking pleasure in a sort of uncaring and psychotic manner, a man who is simply laughing with joy inside as he is thinking of your inevitable torture and death like a predator playing with it's food. The new one you can't see his eyes as clearly to match that smile and his mouth looked more jagged than simply smiling. He also loses his sense of insanity to me because the new red peeled skin look with the brighter glowing eyes just comes off as more aggressive and "oh look spooky angry red man" rather than genuine demented insanity. It makes him look like more of a demon or nightmare creature instead of the psychotic doctor that he is supposed to be (also I find that empty/dead pale white skin more creepy than bright red). Just stare into the eyes on each version in this video and I'm sure you'll agree it has more emotion or madness behind it than the new one at least in my opinion.

Also, new map = Trapper nerf, as the grass is trash on new maps. At this point Trapper needs a total power rework, his traps simply don't work with the new grass. Also, tar bottle is a nerf to his power on the new farm maps, thanks devs, he needed that...

New map seems much smaller than the old one. Maybe harder to steath ghostface that is a fair comment but i think the pressure killers in general can exert is more.

@@whyiotter7302 -nobody uses small game passed rank 18. -Very few people use object and most of those who do don't know the maps well enough te be able to tell where exactly you were putting your traps anyway. Traps being impossible to hide is a massive nerf to trapper, and it's not the 2 perk changes that won't affect 95% of games that will change it. Trapper needs a total rework at this point, the killer simply doesn't work anymore under rank 10.

@@dearcastiel4667 maybe the less skilled ranks Object was not used but at high skill ranks it was often used in survive with friends groups on coms and it was game breaking for trapper, hence the rework. But i will agree that maybe it could use some better grass or hey. It only just got released so I would need to play it more to have an opinion.

when i played it in the ptb, i actually think it's a lot more yellow now? admittedly the brightness makes a difference too, but the whole map felt practically golden

The only reworked realm I really miss is azarovs. These new azarovs maps feel so empty.

I mean it will too boring if every map is just dark. Even tho Iblike the original cuz it gives off this unatural atmosphere which fits the realm of the entity, the new one is pretty nice.

As we can see here, the Claudette mains realize they might have to use lockers to hide instead of in corners

You can hide just fine in tall grasses and certain crevices and obviously lockers, trees, barrels, and walls. No more hiding in plain sight though, now you gotta add some skill to it instead of putting on dark cosmetics and behing handed stealth. I know I know, controversial and unfathomable to have to have skill to play stealth in a game but it'll be alright.

The glow is just flashy for no reason, my biggest problem is the frown, because it makes him more emotive, you can see he is angry. The previous Doctor had a restrain, he couldn't show emotions, that was scary for me, now he is just angry killer man, scrubs edition.

Lol I can't believe that half year ago I thought that Blight and Twins are gonna destroy this game... But I didn't know that they can make Trickster. I like new graphics but not new animations, new player icons and new killer Trickster. I just want to play old DbD.

@@hexdevourhope I really don't tbh. Old DbD was even a more broken piece of shit. If they make a 'Classic DbD' event where it plays like old DbD from 2-3 years ago for a month or two, the player base wouldn't play until it is over lol

@@hexdevourhope Oh, I don't really miss those either (aside from old Autohaven). New maps are better for balance and design. Animations are more fluid. The new HUD after they improved it look a lot better and has better legibility. New models look very good as well. Sometimes you gotta take off nostalgia glasses to see better. I've been there, I would dislike whenever a game I play would improve instead of staying as what it is.

@@cannon3794 I so agree. 3 days ago, me and my friend played custom matches and we also decided to decrease the brightness of our TV's and the Macmillan, Springwood, Haddonfield and Lery's all are creepy and it's unsettling to walk down hallways and paths and seeing Michael, Ghostface and Hag creeping in the distance. Yesterday we kept that darker lighting and went to have a few rounds online and we liked the experience better. I was sweating like crazy because you don't see killers coming as quickly as you normally would. 😉💀
